Lawsuit was filed even before negotiations began. Pac isn't suing them because they asked for a blood test. They are suing them for remarks made after the Cotto fight and even as fas back as summer 2009 when Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy flat out told a respectable Philippine sports journalist that Pac was on PEDs.

 

Pac and Roach at first said that they have no problems with the blood test as long as it wasn't a few days before the fight. Then they said that that wasn't good and that there has to be a 30 day cut off. What was the problem with the 14 cutoff offer that Mayweather was supposedly willing to accept? That would have made the fight happen, but instead Pac and Co. broke off negotiations and went for Clottey.

Pac definitely has the right to sue Floyd if he feels violated, but there is something wrong if they only want to fight in court and want nothing to do with better drug testing. Pac could have fought Floyd by now, showed that he's not afraid of blood tests, and could still sue Floyd if he wanted to, but instead he only has a lawsuit going.
