Mayweather fans! Your thoughts on the Berto fight?

Yea, he can fight who he wants, but on PPV? Come on man, this is trash.

I think he does terrible numbers. (Nobody at CBS/Showtime cares after the Pac fight, he's made everybody money) It'll be lowest since before he fought Oscar. Noway this fight cracks 1 million buys. Not a chance.

IMO - Floyd could have fought Berto on CBS as his last fight as a goodbye and that would be fine. But asking people to shell out $70 for an exhibition essentially? No thanks. Because that's all this is - Berto has next to no chance.

 

I agree it should have been on CBS not PPV i can't roll with that. The fight will do **** numbers I would be surprised if it did 400K.

 

If this was a tuneup for a bigger fight that's fine. But a master boxer like Floyd should be taking on bigger challenges that the fans want him to see take. He acts like he did everyone a favor by fighting Pacquiao when it's his duty to do so as an ATG. He doesn't have much time left, but he's in much better shape than most elite fighters. I hope he won't regret NOT taking any fights he knew he could of won and actually be "TBE". When he's not challenging himself of course people want to see him lose, but when he really goes for it and does challenge himself, his ppv's would never be hurting and he'd be what he claims to be. No disrespect to Berto, he's a warrior, but he should be a tuneup for Brook, Thurman, even Khan ffs! Not Floyd! Better matchups on espn than this. Not ppv worthy.

 

Would have watched it if free. Not going to pay. If some one by some miracle orders it, I'll watch and root for berto.
