    Hey guys

With the upcoming Mayweather-Ortiz Star Power event it dawn on me that Floyd Mayweather career is almost at a close. Upon thinking about this I began to reflect on his fighting legacy, now some believe Mayweather has not taken the biggest challenges in his career. I disagree with those thoughts however I do feel he should have fought Kostya Tszyu & Miguel Cotto (I think he would beaten both).

What I would like to know is if Floyd Mayweather took these five fights Ortiz, Pacquiao, Martinez Khan and Canelo before he retired:

    1) Do you think he could win them all?
    2) Do you think he would make the top 12 fighters of all time?
    3) Do you believe he would be recognised as the best fighter of this era?

    Thanks again

He doesn't need to fight Canelo. Floyd has already beat up superior Mexican fighters in his lifetime.

We had a thread awhile back where the majority thought Floyd "fulfills his promise" when he beats up emmanuel and Amir after Ortiz.

Fighting Sexy Sergio is going the extra mile.

I think he can make top 15 if he beat all of them, especially pac at 147 and martinez at 160 would be career best wins.
I dont think he would win all of them and I highly doubt he faces all of them.
I expect him to face khan and canelo.

Pac would murder him, he is stylistically made for him, I hope he gets some more hype and then fights pac.
But he is a gb product and prospect, mayweather would school him, since he is with gbp I expect floyd to be the one to defeat him, if a guy like angulo doesnt do it first.

    Amir Khan vs Saul Alvarez:yep

I doubt Amir would stay at 147 for too long after Floyd murders that AZZ. You don't get to see a British P@kistani fighting an Irish like Mexican everyday.

 that fight will happen for sure, along with ortiz vs khan and ortiz vs canelo. Canelo is stuck he is too short for 160 and above and he cant go down. So eventually there paths will cross.

Bla bla bla. Pac is only saying now he wants to fight Floyd. The duck and dodge came from both side.

If Floyd fight nothing but champions from now until he retire and win them all, there's no reason why he won't be looked at as the best of this era. I believe even if he does not fight Pac and fight Martinez instead while remaining with a zero on his record. He would still be looked at as the best of this era. You have to take in to consideration the weight divisions he's climb and his undefeated record. It's impressive to have gone up in weight classes and still has not faced defeat yet. I don't think there's any other fighter to have gone there whole career climbing weight classes and retiring with zero defeats. If he can achieve he would be the best of this era.

Canelo would be decent money. Not an even fight though, unless they do it late next year.
