Mayweather fighting Ortiz is much better then Pacman last two opponents.

:patsch everyone has been giving Berto **** for years calling him a HBO hype job. That was pre Ortiz. Infact I thought Berto didn't do too badly against Victor. Even tho he lost, for me he enhanced his reputation.

Stricly your opinion. You're entitled to it, but don't act as if that's universal or even a fact. Cotto, depending on his opponents, is still a force and threat to most at 154 or 147.

I didn't call him a quitter. Is this going to be a daily thing, you changing **** I say? I said he quit.

But if you think Cotto's beating is equal to what Ortiz got...then you really cannot be serious.

I have no idea what that show is. But dammit...we have enough stupid shows set in AK!!

Did I not say this, for me, is the best opponent for him bar Pac?

And for what it's worth I think Ortiz gives him more trouble than most have in the last few years. What my point was, Pac has also taken on the best he could have as Floyd was retired. Did Margo n Shane deserve a shot, probably not. But which other welter could he have faced, bearing in mind Ortiz was fighting Berto

He quit in 6 rounds w/ Maidana. That's the same as Cotto getting beati badly through the 11th? No. You really cannot be ****in serious with that.

This fight is a couple years overdue. How bad would the backlash have been if Pac fought JMM at welter right after Floyd beat him though. JMM somehow felt he could go through Floyd to get his trilogy with Pac, that misfired. They had to give him a little time and a few fights to reestablish himself as the lightweight King again..

No one knows Pac as well as JMM and Nacho. Yes he's older, yes he's declining.. But this is suppose to showcase if Pac has really become a better fighter since they last met. A lot of people believe Pac has just been matched well. So if he can dominate JMM, it may silence a few people even if JMM is past best..

Ortiz is a huge question mark. After Maidana the guy was spoonfed guys coming off KO losses, or old guys who quit in big fights. The only decent fighter since Maidana was Peterson. Even though I think he clearly won the fight with the KD's, he looked very poor down the stretch. looking very good against Berto, it's still very hard for me to think Ortiz is this new improved fighter they were telling us he was gonna be a few years ago..

It was entertaining as ****, and had the majority calling for a part 2. Not because it was a bad decision, but because everyone got their moneys worth

Cotto struggle against a old shot fighter who had no business in the ring and that had been out off the ring for a while.

That doesn't convince me he's a real threat right now especailly at those weights where he doesn't belong.:deal

Floyd is fighting someone who is 24 and a beltholder. He's not fighting somebody who is always older, shot, weight drained like Pacman has down for years now.
