Theres no doubt at all in my mind that Floyd believes he
is every bit as good as he is.

He seems like the sociopathic type where his ego is going
    to be his downfall.

I think the psychological term is megalomaniac....Hitler, Mussolini, Cristiano Ronaldo---all megalomaniacs.

To be fair, one doesn't need to look very hard.

There was no undertone, or even a hidden agenda in my comment

Then again, now I'm commiting the same crime you did. Let me elaborate, I don't agree with those who call Floyd a coward, he's merely sucking the fans the media to a point of no return before making a deal. Its pretty freaking obvious the man is not going to back down to Roach, Manny, Arum and company. He's a cerebal fighter in and outside the ring, when and if the fight is signed your will watch just like you took the time to open this thread to read about how much of a "coward" this multi champion boxer is....lmfao!

Maybe that's the problem here....if you look deeper you may play out the different scenerios leading to the procrastination of the fight.

I don't believe Floyd is a coward. But there is absolutely no question whatsoever that he has a fear of Manny Pacquiao that differs from whatever he feels about other fighters. If you disagree with this, you're out of touch with reality. His answer in this interview about his health is just the tip of the iceberg, really; and it is certainly indicative of a modicum of fear, whether you want to believe it or not. Fear does not make one a coward, though - it's a very natural emotional reaction that everyone (that isn't clinically psychotic) will feel at some point in their lives. Even the hardest, most badass mother****er that ever walked the planet was scared of something once.

I would gladly eat my words when that happens. But then again, as for what is happening I'd call Floyd a coward until he proves me wrong.

Let me make myself clear calling him a coward isn't retroactive, I give him credit for all that he's done in the past. Questionable or not, because it is what it is a W.

But for Pac? The tone of his voice, the excuses and such. After all the trashtalk is just disgraceful.

Nah, why would that scare Floyd?

Floyd doesn't walk straight in with his chin exposed.

Ahhh I now feel better regarding my treasure troll phobia......

But seriously I think the man fears more the thought of losing than he does Pac, I would'nt doubt for second that he holds Manny in a different light but trust me he's been influenced to imagine Manny as more of a threat than he really is. He's answer are all part of the tact and he's simply being overly and utterly diplomatic as oppossed to this meglaminacal tyrant that some other posters make him out to be. Most people who now me on these forums understand the fact that I'm not a huge Floyd fan but I love this sport and because of that I can't help but enjoy Floyds sweet science, but I can put in the proper perspective.
