Mayweather Finally Talks: Not interested right now with Pac

Floyd has too much pride to talk about family problems. If he had actually mentioned Roger's situation, I would have given him a pass. But the vacation thing is just too lame. To put things into perspective, if Pac pulled off this same stunt, he'd be open target too for *****s and other Pac haters.

 

PAC fans were not happy of what happened. As for myself, I just vented out my disappointment by "roasting" Floyd's name.

Floyd can take a vacation if that's what he wanted but at the same time I think he can also give his COMMITMENT by saying he will fight Pacquiao next. Right?

The AP story, nowhere does it mention that Mayweather said that he was taking the rest of the year off.

Pacquiao already has agreed to an equitable(1 : having or exhibiting equity : dealing fairly and equally with all concerned <an equitable settlement of the dispute>) split of the earnings from the megafight, along with extensive drug testing. The two sides nearly came to terms earlier this year, but the fight didn&#8217;t happen then because Pacquiao was reticent about blood testing close to a fight.

 

I'm waiting for Floyd to say that he will be fighting Pacquiao next... in 2012...:rofl

Actually, Floyd didn't offer any more details than Arum did about why this fight fell through, or what exactly was agreed to or not. But, Floyd's not hiding, obviously. I doubt he's not in the mood to make $50 million though. I, also, doubt that he's scared. The money will still be there next year. Nowhere has it been said that Floyd DOES NOT EVER want to fight Pacquiao. It's obvious the Pac fanboys have already written the end of the story, though. But, this is not a Rocky movie. The facts are hardly as melodramatic...

What we do know is, they could not see eye-to-eye on HOW, WHEN, and BY WHOM, they will be tested...still. Roger has an impending case, which, by the looks of the police report, appears he can't win. Stay tuned.
