Golovkin is unwilling to fight a guy like Canelo at 155.

But at 151, he's going to be able to land debilitating body shots on an elite talent like Floyd?

    I don't think so.

Fight would be at 154, GGG would still come almost as heavy as when he fights at 160. Damn, he had devastating power when he fought as LWW and LMW. :good

Floyd was nearly knocked cold by a Shane Mosley who wasn't even on his EPO, 'the clear' and 'the cream' ie. not the Shane who was throwing bazookas at Margarito for round after round with seemingly limitless stamina. Against Floyd his fuel tanks mysteriously depleted after just 3 rounds. And that was against a Floyd who was very likely juiced too. :rofl

Maidana wobbled him badly too at the end of one of the rounds and that was a Maidana who wasn't even allowed to wear a perfectly legal and commission approved brand of puncher's gloves.

Juan Manuel Marquez on said gloves

'JMM: (As he punches) You can throws this punches (hook, jab etc.) and I can feel the knuckles. You can feel the power of the punch, and I believe that is why Mayweather doesn't want Maidana to use this gloves. Maidana already punches really hard, imagine if he uses these gloves, it will be a stronger punch. Mayweather can go to the canvas.

    J. Eduardo: Anyone with a decent punch can knock someone out.
JMM: Anyone with a decent punch and these kind of gloves, as I said, gloves that are not tight, less padding and wide. They feel really comfortable.'

Floyd would make it look easy and GGG would become a bum straight away. From an ATG that beats Hagler to a bum hahahaha. Floyd would see his telegraphed punches coming a mile away. GGG wouldn't even land a glove on him.

Didn't see that one, because I swore off Mayweather years ago, but I just can't imagine that. Canelo has some holes in his game that an elite veteran like Mayweather or Pacquiao would exploit, but Golovkin looks a lot more complete and a lot more powerful. I think he wouldn't have any of that jab and grab that Mayweather was dealing out, would just walk through his punches and bounce Mayweather off the mat.

Yes a current 160 pound Golovkin would be the best opponent of Mayweather's career.
