Free tv? Corporate sponsorships and TV ads aren't free.

You really think they will get behind someone not named Mayweather, Canelo or Broner? I dont see it. And the casuals will not tune in either unless its those fighters named.

Those guys are PPV fighters or soon to be in Broner. I dont see them fighting on free tv.

They would have to pre-sale ads to get a Mayweather fight, I'm not sure I would even want it on TV you won't even get replays or hear the corner, but Floyd would love to be on national tv it's such a ego boost.

I want to say it was some of the same guys, Elite XC got caught offering Kimbos opponent not to take it to the ground so they scattered pretty quickly

That's the point, these guys will be at the forefront of the transition which will get people aware of boxing on free TV. After that the can throw other names on cards because the viewership will be in place. Once people are aware of boxing on free TV they will always watch. Hell people watch HBo and SHOWTIME whenever a fight is on snd that's cable.

My girlfriend and her family wont tune in to watch Abner Mares or James Kirkland. So unless they have Mayweather, Canelo, Broner every night its going to be a colossal failure.

I'd love to see boxing on free TV but it won't ever happen with big name fights. The money just isn't there for boxing. 1 or 2 million viewer for any show is a small number on free TV. There is no TV exec out there who's going to shell out the 30 million for 1 night (purse money + promotion cost) for a few million viewers.

I don't think so I talked about selling beer, tools, truck and AT&T, if you are only talking once it can happen, this networks spend 1 billion a year on the NFL a piece.
