Lomachenko is a solid fighter, but I can tell Tank what to do if the fight ever happened - which I don't think it's going to happen. The fight that I think is going up happen, is that Mikey Garcia will end up fighting Lomachenko. I don't think Lomachenko hits as hard as Mikey Garcia, I don't think so," Mayweather told Fighthype.com.

During the fight with Linares, Lomachenko suffered the first knockdown of his pro career when a right hand caught him in the sixth round.

Mayweather believes Davis, had he dropped the two-time Olympic gold medal winner, would have never allowed Lomachenko to make it out of that round.

The shot he got hit with wasn't even a hard shot. And I'll tell you this, I truly believe that Gervonta is a much, much bigger puncher than Linares. If Gervonta would have dropped Lomachenko, he would have finished him. He's a finisher. When he gets you hurt, its not a like a Money Mayweather.

"The thing you got to understand about 'Money Mayweather' - is by that time the body was broken down. Now 'Pretty Boy Floyd' would have gone for the kill. He's like a 'Pretty Boy Floyd' going for the kill when he smells blood."

Do you agree with Floyd ?

I'd love to see Loma vs Tank but Floyd doesnt think its gonna happen. LOL

What happened to " I called Top Rank etc..."

I guess it was the same ish like now : just piggybacking the Lomachenko hype.

    Loma vs Mikey
    Tank vs Linares

Winner vs Winner...I'd love to see that in 2019

They'll steer clear of Loma as long as they are able to

This assumes that Davis would have been able to land that short, quick, perfectly timed shot and that Loma was truly dazed by the shot. To me it looked more like Loma got caught in the rare time he was off balance and wasn't all that stunned.

Great so that means he has confidence in Tank. Make it happen, otherwise keep your mouth shut. Just put Tank in there so Loma can school the crap out of him.

Davis can beat Loma if he catches him. Big If though but even if he does Loma will comeback.
But if Loma beats Davis, I'm afraid the humiliation will be too much and he might not come back at all. Look at Rigo, still missing lol. It will be a total ruin.

It’s strange that in the fight that proved conclusively that Loma has an iron jaw, it’s been taken as meaning he is vulnerable and can be hurt. He was caught off balance by a lightning fast guy who weighs 15+ pounds more than him.
Floyd is saying that Loma was hurt and would’ve been stopped in the next 14 seconds of the round if he was against Davis. Which is an absurd thing to say, he wasn’t hurt and he keeps his head in all situations. I do think Davis is more of a threat than Garcia but I still don’t think Davis can get anything done against Loma.
