I'm telling you, you're stupid. There's no try, that's just fact. You don't understand basic statistics. You only know nuthugger arithmetic. If anything, what that shows is Floyd has declined and Pac has not which contradicts what you Pac clowns have been saying that it is Pac who is shot.
I've broken this down, but no one listens to me. -.- If you breakdown more on career and not just past 3 fights, on avg Mayweather's opponents land around 19-20% and Pacquiao's opponents land around 24%-25%. Pacquiao is a lot harder to hit than people give him credit for. And reason? Footwork + punches. Pacquiao has quick feet that allows him to get in and out and also has the speed and power to make an opponent more hesitant to throw. Mayweather is just starting to meet father-time. He is losing that fluidity in his legs that he once had, where it would look like he was gliding across the ring... Luckily, Manny hasn't and it probably has something to do with those freakishly large calves. Also, Timothy Bradley, a #3 P4P PRIME UNDEFEATED FIGHTER > than Mayweather's past 4 opponents! So stop!
Maidana landed 221 punches vs Mayweather, at 26% of thrown. Maidana landed 195 punches vs Morales, at 20% of thrown. And please don't act like Maidana is some great fighter. His greatest accomplishment is beating Broner, and being competitive with Amir Khan! :deal Mayweather is slipping, and I can't believe some people aren't seeing it.
Not to be the nerd of the forum right here, but that is not mathematically correct :nono 3 would be 300% more than 1, not 0. Same story for the losses
Sure..... The guy barely got by a 40 year old Marquez at 147, but he beats the Canelo Mayweather fought at a 152 catch weight. Sure.... Guerrero would be a tough fight for Bradley. Maidana takes Bradley out. :deal Bradley has proven almost nothing at 147. Even less than that a weight class above you claim he'd beat Canelo at. (Nothing) Lay off the drugs. :deal
Timothy Bradley was a tougher fight and better opposition than Floyds. Algieri and Rios....Not so much
Algieri and Rios were punching bags, Maidana showed up and threw punches unlike those two. When people throw punches, they tend to land a couple
Don't blame them! That's part of Manny's defense. They stopped throwing because they were scared to throw due to Manny's power + speed... while Maidana kept throwing because Floyd didn't have the power to scare him off.
Pacquiao fans hyping Timothy Bradley as an undefeated top pound for pound fighter is so confusing, because in the same breath, they will say Paccquiao didn't lose to him and Marquez was juiced up so that win isn't valid, which would make Bradley's win over Marquez less important. It can't be both. Bradley isn't top tier p4p if he doesn't beat Pacquiao and Marquez coming off the Pacquiao KO Surely beating Timothy Bradley, who is a good fighter but is only held in high regard due to a robbery win over Pacquiao, isn't better than Floyd moving up a weight class and beating the undefeated young champion there, but hey, he was weight drained. Tell me more about how Cotto is the greatest win of all time. pacquiao stooges are in such a rush to detract from Floyd that they back themselves into a corner very quickly
If you want to really look at stats, KO artists get hit less than defensive wizards. I guarantee you that for all the accolades that Mayweather, Rigondeaux, Lara, and Bradley get for being good defensive fighters Klitschko, Kovalev, and Golovkin have fought fewer rounds and been hit less, in spite of being in more fights. Offense really is the best defense, if you have power.
The hell. Some of you guys genuinely believe Canelo (you saw the fight right? That plodding excuse of a fight) and Maidana are better than a fighter like Bradley? Hell, he is no ATG, but it doesnt take much to see he is clearly a better/more competitive fighter to both Pacquiao/Mayweather than Alvarez. The same with Maidana. Maidana would get humiliated by Pacquaio. As for the other 2, Rio's was a "comeback" fight & Algieri was just a mismatch.
Bradley was a top fighter before fighting Pacquiao. His resume was better than Canelo's and Maidana's before they fought Floyd actually atsch You're the one backed into a corner here. Maidana's claim to fame is and was beating Broner. He got wiped out for the majority of the fight with Amir (until the end), and dropped in the process. And Floyd just fought this guy TWICE! He landed less punches at a lower percent against a washed up, fat Morales than he did Floyd!!! Explain that one genius. And I'm not even a Pac fan above being a Floyd fan. I'm picking Floyd to win. But some of you Floyd groupies are unreal. Tim Bradley was a top 10 definitely (top 5 arguably) P4P fighter when Pac fought him.
