His choice of opponents though is very disappointing since he came from lightweight.

As i said already i don't tune in for Floyd fights anymore, with the exception of the Cotto fight.

Skillwise and ring IQ he is the best no question.Its kind of frustrating to see him waste whatever he has left without facing any type of adversity.The closest we've ever seen him tested was against Castillo and cotto. He does however deserve praise for the way he dismantled Mosley with textbook boxing cause after all he did take 2 monstrous shots from Mosley which he recovered from and took control of afterwards.

 

I really wanted him to fight Martinez when he said he would but hey if we can't get that fight at least give us Floyd vs canelo or Floyd vs trout.If canelo takes on 2 legit 154lbers and wins both fights convincingly I think he'd be deserving of a fight with Floyd.Canelo vs Floyd will do great numbers.
