If they're guaranteeing him that much, then GBP must think this fight is going to do around 1.4M buys.

Waiting for the first delusional ***** to break out with the "$40 or $50 Million" guarantee bull****. $25 is Floyd highest guarantee to day. $22 Million was his previous best.

    At the scene ...

"According to the Nevada State Athletic Commission, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is guaranteed $25 million dollars for Saturday's fight with WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz, which takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Ortiz will be making $2 million for the fight, with an additional $500,000 as the overall package. Both boxers will receive undisclosed upside percentages from the pay-per-view revenue.

Erik Morales will receive $350,000, with Pablo Cesar Cano getting $100,000.

Jessie Vargas will make a good payday of $100,000 for the pay-per-view opener, and his opponent Josesito Lopez is receiving $30,000."

floyd could end up making that much.

    counting ppv buys and this

On fight nights, if it were not for the din of the crowd and the sounds of fists striking chins, Mayweather could hear the ringing of cash registers. He earns a percentage of every ticket purchased, every pretzel consumed, every poster sold. He will earn from the foreign countries that paid for broadcasting rights and the movie theaters where the fight is shown.
