There is no big enough fight to bring him Pac or Connor type of money. So I doubt he will be back, maybe for canelo 2 if somehow canelo manage to beat GGG in their rematch.

It wouldn't make sense but I would love to see mayweather vs Terence Crawford.

Exactly. Judging by his fight with Mcgregor he needs to leave it alone now

Who the hell is this guy? Floyd fighting again? If he does it will more than likely be another spectacle or a Mcgregor rematch of some kind... I doubt Floyd goes against a top contender right now.. but I do hope he does.. Seeing floyd lose at 40 years old isnt that appealing to me though.. Everybody wouldsay well he was old etc etc.. Which he is..

It's most likely number 3. This is why in most cases former fighters don't make great promoters, managers, or trainers until they're completely retired. If Floyd put half of the energy he puts into promoting himself post retirement into his fighters his promotional outfit would be way more successful. Also, if he takes an embarrassing loss at this point, which is possible at his age despite his skill level his brand and everything connected to him would plummet overnight.

He needs to stay retired he's shot but he's an attention ***** who craves the spotlight. He can't stand the attention other boxers are getting.

Mayweather should fight GGG. GGG is shot, Mayweather takes him UD.

Mayweather vs GGG at 155pounds for MW titles. Next May

Similar to Leonard see Hagler was slowing.

Canelo is not that evolved, next year GGG will be close to shot too. Floyd is too,but Floyd knows everything, has Vegas on his hands

    Judges,referee,155lbs,gloves,dehydration clause,IV clause etc...

Floyd knows he can survive 12rounds with GGG now.

Just book it. Floyd is one of the greatest. But probably TBE at doing con jobs. Come next May,enjoy another con job.

And Floyd is laughing and counting his money.

I hope it's not true. I'm not interested seeing "fixed" boxing fights anymore

Is Mayweather actually capable of getting into a full proper war? When Maidana tried to give him one, Floyd did all he could to squeak out a disputed decision. The thing about GGG vs Floyd though it would not be war. It would a one sided beatdown. I just don't think Mayweather would stand and trade like Brook tried to do. He will live and die by his style. Which is to lower the output and fight off the backfoot. I suppose if he fought a guy like Crawford it wouldn't be an opportunity for Mayweather to give the fans a good fight. Because it would consist of Mayweather running away and him being walked down and beaten to the punch over and over and over again. Mayweather just won't give you a war. It's not his DNA. Sort of like Hopkins. They just aren't going to do it. If they are outgunned (see Hopkins against Jones Jr and Kovalev) they will just be content to ride out a decision loss. Anything besides hitting the canvas.

Could be. He's claimed GGG would be easy to beat and is too simple. Plus, he'd be 36 by next May and isn't knocking people out anymore. GGG has a good jab though and slightly underrated defense. May actually be a good fight at this stage. It's hard to rate Floyd after the McGregor fight. I believe he was carrying McGregor and he didn't throw much early. I think it's still very possible he could win against GGG at 154. If you're GGG and you lose, then it was to Mayweather, and the Canelo rematch is still there.
