I expect Mayweather to use momentum and timing perfectly in this bout, in turn...the stoppage may come.

He is bigger though and hits harder while maintaining a good punch output.

You can't outskill Floyd anyway so Ortiz's sledge hammer tactics are the only viable option.

It's possible if Ortiz keeps coming forward with reckless abandonment like Hatton and Gatti did even when they know they're well behind. However does Ortiz have sack enough to do that? We shall see

    Check Hook part two.

    I can see that happening.

I can see Ortiz getting knocked out. It won't be because of Floyd trying to get a KO, but rather Ortiz taking some stupid risks after becoming increasingly frustrated as he gets schooled round after round.

Maidana made him quit = Maidana stopped him.

Ortiz was almost stopped in the 6th round after Berto knocked him down. Look at the ref.

yes i think floyd has a very good chance. ortiz more often than not is very careless when going in and this would lead to some shots that floyd would land that ortiz would not see or would not be aware of.

I just put 100$ on Floyd to stop Ortiz in rounds 7-12 at 9/2.

My friend went to see Floyd spar this week against Kassim Ouma and Sechew Powell and he said Floyd was pressing the action on both of them and breaking them down on the inside.......So I think its fair to say that Floyd is looking to breakdown Ortiz so he can get a stoppage win.

Its possible but I would not go with saying he has a 'very good chance'.

Ortiz will win, to much pressure. I see another berto performance from ortiz as long as he comes in with a jab.

We have to look at styles.

Marquez was a smart counter puncher.

Mosley was an iron chinned hero who is great at preventing himself from being hit when it's his focus.

Ortiz is going to be a young and dumb guy still trying to compensate for the Maidana fight. Kid is going to be coming forward all night.

Floyd isn't going to fight Ortiz the way he fought Marquez. He's going to be more high activity here than he was the Mosley fight.
