I dont disagree that Mayweather wins, I dont doubt he can stop ortiz, what I do disagree with is your theory about him moving up to 147 and not being able to deal with the power of a true welter weight.

I disagree 100%, perhaps the reason we got the Maidana out come and the sluggish performance against peterson is because 140 may have been killing him, since he moved up and its only been one fight, but keep it real here he has been on the deck but didnt look as bad as he did when he was on the deck from maidana.

He recovered well and moved on to win the fight, in other words I see the move up in weight as progress for Ortiz, I think it suits his body better at this age as it did Cotto when he moved up, Notice Miguel as well wasnt having the same problems at 147 as he was at 140.

we all know Floyd is looking to make a statement against Ortiz, and that too may end up getting Floyd in trouble in this fight, if he trys too hard to make that statement his lay offs or vacations mixed with his urge or lack there of may show in this fight should he get clipped as a result of going after that statement...
I like Floyd in this fight, the only thing I really care to see here, is if Ortiz hurts him how does Floyd deal with it....?:think

Floyd will pick him apart, I think there's a good chance of a stoppage here but it really depends on how aggressive Floyd wants to be.

I don't agree with you about Cotto at 147 cause as we saw against Judah he could be hurt bigtime.

I got it at -140... over 11 1/2.. bet 1000$ to win 714$! Easy money.. the only way this fight goes under is if Ortiz stops mayweather and I dont see that happening!

He was hurt by Judah, but not on the same level as he was by Corley and by Torres:deal

its not impossible since ortiz will fight like hatton coming forward with chin open to get hit but if floyd will fight safety first until the 12th like what he did against marquez, its not gonna happen! wide ud is more likely!

Is hit, and not get hit, the ideal mindset for a fighter?

I can see Floyd pulling an Ndou on Ortiz and strafing him with straight rights all night long, combining it with some nice body work and taking Ortiz out around rd 9-10. However, I also see Floyd getting visibly hurt at least a couple of times in the fight, especially early on. I like Ortiz' lead right hook followed by a fast right uppercut on the inside. Should be an interesting fight while it lasts.

Mayweather's mindset is way more "not get hit" than "hit"
