I will have to agree, nobody seems to talk about the 10 mill penalty.

Mayweather restructured the contract prior to fighting Marquez. There was no penalty paid. It was a payment to Marquez to restructure the contract.

Opinions, Manny is requesting something that's never been that high, yet you're mad Floyd is requesting a type of drug test, just blood instead of urine.

It's kind of like, Manny is wanting a penalty per pound, instead of a few million, 10 million.

This is the biggest fight in boxing / ever in boxing. Both have made special request.

Nothing is wrong with that, but that's not what Manny wants.

He wants only 3 test. 1 during the conference week, 1, 30 days prior to fight. 1 after.

Mayweather wants random. PLUS Roach has stated before that he's fine with Manny taking a blood test 3 days prior.

Both are asking for MORE of something that's already in the sport.

Penalty's of being over are in the sport.

Drug testing is in the sport.

Manny wants an outragously high penalty, Floyd wants blood testing.

Exactly. Major difference here. Manny has a request based on what Mayweather did previously. Floyd has a request based on how shocked they were when he ****ed up a much bigger Cotto. With that said, I wish Manny would just take the test so that these Floyd fans and especially Sr. would just STFU.

I dunno about that. When the controversy erupts, Pacquiao man up and said in public what his take about this mess. Now where's Gayweather? I haven't heard or seen Gayweather talking publicly that he wanted this Olympic style drug testing. He's hiding in the skirt of GBP promotions (I thought Floyd promotes himself?).

Actually I'm guessing that Gayweather was having sleepless nights for the last few days or weeks.

Is $10 million per pound really an issue? We all know that Floyd can make 147 easily so that penalty clause won't really matter.

Why did Floyd accepted that weight stipulation without any fuss? Coz it's not a problem with Floyd.

Actually the $10 million per pound penalty is a very good measure to prevent or lessen the possibility of Floyd repeating his weigh-in cheating done in his last fight.

Floyd never cheated, the contract the time of the weigh in for Floyd-Marquez was for 147.

    :deal

I think the ploy of Mayweather to get into Manny's head by forcing him to submit into a strenuous at the same time disruptive drug test while training is now backfiring on them.

Pac's stern refusal and the succeeding law action should put Mayweather and GBP on the defensive end.

Pac can now fight anyone. What would be Floyd's next move, knowing that the reason why he unretired is to cash in on Pacquaio's popularity, and now that fight is off?

And what would matter by having Pac accept drug testing?

Same as Floyd accepting the weight stipulation. It wouldn't matter.

Unless of course he was using something illegal. (not that I think he is. just that is the only problem that could arise by agreeing to drug testing)

He cheated. He was penalized for his cheating.

    false.

He paid Marquez to agree to a contract change.
