Or, his last 2 fights have come against a blown up 35 year old lightweight and an inactive 38 year old who relies heavily on physical ability such as speed and stamina.

I'm only playing devils advocate here because I really ****ing despise this mythical p4p ****.

should we all be proud that he fought the #2 p4p even if he was a lightweight at the time? floyd has proved that he will fight someone his own size but some floyd fans are pushing it by bashing pac.

If he beats Pacquiao next will he be the first person to beat the top 3 ranking P4P boxers back to back?

Yes.Yes he did beat 2 and 3.But Pacquiao has beaten more Welterweights than Floyd. If you want to be extremely cheap...
Pac beat Cotto who beat Clottey and Shane who beat Margarito. So by being super ****ing cheap, you can say Pac beat 4 welterweights while Mayweather finally beat a good one.Literally.He beat the crap out of Mosley.I can't rag on the guy for fighting safety first constantly because he almost fought like his old Super Featherweight self. The one that beat the crap out of Corrales. Now if he didn't constantly skew personalities with Floyd and Money,I'd genuinely like the guy but I gotta say I have found new respect for his abilities after seeing his offense come out.

lol this was not a shot at pac, im a pac fan too, lol, Floyd has beaten the p4p 2 and 3 one after another and is still considered a ducker by some shows just how dominant he is.

I'm actually going to go one further than the TS statement----The last 4 fighters that floyd has fought were all universally recognized as top 10 P4P fighters----DLH was hovering in the 7th or 8th slot before his fight with mayweather, Hatton was 7th or 8th, JMM was 2-3, Mosley was 3...it's actually quite funny that people make Pac's last few fights to be "Armstrong-esque" as he beat a glorified club fighter in david diaz (who an old ass morales gave problems to,) mentally beaten up Hatton, Cotto, and DLH.... Clottey doesn't even deserve any mention really as i always thought he was overrated from the get-go....... I really hope these 2 can get it on, i have a very confident feeling FLoyd will knock him out in the later rounds to prove his point.....

I honestly dont think you can knock the achievements of either fighter they both have pretty good resumes, I mean you can pick holes in any fighters history. The fact is you can argue, ***** and moan about either fighter but they both have alot of credibility.

Fighting a fat JMM at welter is laughable in P4P context.

and christ only knows how Mosley would be ranked 3 in P4P rankings. If that's true, that just sums up how **** P4P lists are. He's probably not even the 3rd best welterweight.

In the last 3 years, he's had 1 good win, and a loss against a comparable level fighter. That's hardly P4P material. You can't count **** that happened 10 years ago in pound for pound rankings.
