    I'm a Mayweather fan, but why are people even comparing him to Sugar Ray Robinson...the #1 on mine and many others ATG list? Mayweather is talented as hell, but you can't even compare the skill set between the two. Different eras, different sport now, etc. No modern great comes close to what he achieved, and I don't see anyone in the forseeable future achieving what Robinson achieved.

    i agree but i think thats only because no one today can or will fight that many times in such a short time...but every fight of ray robinsons wasn't against world class fighters....

    at that time any bum off the streets can challenge the champ to a fight....
