    Manny didn't win a title at 126.

And if you count the WBO as serious titles then DLHs done 6 divisions.

If you dont he's dont 4.

Manny was the ring magazine champion at 126, which is better than an alphabet title.

The WBO belt has merit, it's deemed to be one of the 4 belts worth something. Some of the guys weren't "the man" at that weight, but the same goes for some of Floyd's titles. That's the problem with modern boxing though, "title" and "champion" lose their meaning.

    It's all good anyway.

Only 3 people have done it. Oscar did it before Floyd got to 5, Floyd did it was before Manny got to 5.

If he stops claiming that he is the best than ofcours he has nothing to proof. But if he he keeps claiming that he is the best ever than he is not even half way done. He's got plenty more to proof.

Yeah it's a select few, so it's a big deal. But of course in the modern sport it's much easier to do it that it was for past fighters. Still, a great achievement.

The WBC is more credible than the WBA, WBO, IBF...

NOW NAME 1 FIGHTER WHO GOT THOSE BELTS WHILE STAYING UNDEFEATED AND WAS CONSISTENTLY TOP 10 LB FOR LB FOR THE MAJORITY OF THERE CAREER????:think

that was the whole point:deal and you guys left out sugar ray leonard, and tommy hearns

and now that you realize only a few have done it how many have won thew same title in 5 different weight classes while remaining undefeated.

you will find that no fighter in the history of the modern era of boxing (multiple sanctioning bodies) has accomplsihed whaty floyd has done.

and the WBC is the major title to hold..
    130-genaro hernadez-WBC-Ring Champion
    135-Jose Luis castillo-WBC-Ring Champion
140-Arturo gatti-wbc-ranked #1 by Ring when floyd beat him
    147-Carlos Baldomir-WBC-Ring Champion
    154-oscar de la hoya-WBC-Ranked #3 by Ring

    Well said!

Good thing is there is still time. Let PBF beat Pac, Mosley and Cotto and there will be nothing left to complain about. Like you said, I'd pick him against all these guys.

    Ahhhh, no.

The WBC has it's moments of credibility, just like all 4 of them do. For example, Floyd beat Arturo Gatti of all people for the 140lb WBC belt. Everyone knows that Kostya Tszyu was the man at 140, and then Hatton after he beat him (20 or so days before Floyd faced Gatti).

In this case, the IBF was far more credible than the WBC.

The only one that matters is the Ring belt, everybody knows it.

Yea your wrong:-(...AS A WHOLE, THE WBC IS FAR MORE CREDIBLE THAN THE IBF...IBF IS THE LEAST CREDIBLE OF THE 4!:deal I'm not talking about 1 belt in 1 division..I'm talking about the body as a whole...The WBC is the better of all 4 evils...Floyd called for Tszyu and Hatton and Cotto at 140...Arum couldn't make any of em!

people respect the guy, it just he needs more quality fighters on his resume to be considered the greatest as he says. his best victories so far are castillo and judah and possibly ricky hatton. He missed the opportunity to fight his closest rival in the p4p stakes against tszyu a couple of years back, and now it seems like he is unwilling to fight pac which will be the the fight of this decade. imagine how highly regarded he would be if he had victories over those two and in their prime. in my opininon he needs better opposition on his resume

The O in Mayweather's record is overrated.

First of all. the likes of Duran, leonard fought in a much tougher area. Then Mayweather's competition is allright but not very strong compared to other ATG.Also, PBF lost the first Castillo fight. Further, PBF did not fight the elite of the welterweight division and spent a few years fighting weak competition

The collected alphapbetic belts in multiple weights are also overrated these days. There are so many weight classes and belts these days.

PBF is certainly not a top 50 ATG, Top 100 borderline, so yes, he has something to prove.
