Yes he is still at his best, Prime, If he loses now, he loses period. There can't be any excuses made for him. Is he getting hit more lately yes, That is due to people watching him more closely and coming up with plans to figure him out, not because he's old.

Nonsense. He's at worst the 2nd best fighter in the world. You don't get an automatic excuse for your age, you get an excuse for showing clear decline in ability. Floyd's still very much at the elite level.

    thanks man :good
This is 5 fights ago. Compare this to current Floyd and gtfo

Use your eyes, and he was around the same weight for this fight as he is now. Much more fluid here and agile/quick

if 35 is old in boxing then its old in boxing no matter if your floyd or not. i dont think floyd has loss a step but he is 35 and i just think at 27 - 33 were is best yrs. 35 is old kinda for boxing, but hopkins was his age when he beat tito. floyd in boxing yrs is about 29-30 because he dont take punishments. **** the layoffs that aint ****, when he gets in the ring he hardly gets it. all that running people sayed he did over the yrs is whats keeping him in the game today and at the top.

bULL****. its crazy to say he is at his best and still in his prime. his BRAIN is what keeps him undefeated. have u watched the Ortiz fight? his legs are not what they used to be and his reflexes arent either. quit with all "been in wars" ****. that dont mean ****. theres pleanty of warriors thats had long careers and can still pull the trigger. look at Marquez and Morales. floyd is not a very active fighter and that can take a toll on a fighter.

dont get me twisted with these *******s tho. im not making any pre-fight excuses for a floyd loss. if he loses he loses. but to say age has NOTHING to do with his performances and claiming hes still in his prime is ******ed. hes 35 years old. he aint a youngster anymore. theres nothing to improve on anymore, he will just continue to decline. u act like EVERY defensive fighter can be like BHOP.

You gotta be ****ing kidding me!!!!!!!!1 You use the slow come forward plodding Baldomir to show how fluid and agile Floyd is???? Antonio Margarito's footwork would look brilliant in there too. C'mon you gotta do better than this. How about Judah???

So if he loses to Cotto will it be because decline in skills due to age??? Or Cotto being the better man that night??

don't look at Baldomir, look at Floyd and his legs. Look at his reflexes and how quick his movements are. If you can't tell a difference then u need to get in a boxing ring

Yeah he was definitely more athletic back then, but I feel his ring iq has actually improved from then. He seems so in-control when he fights now. Nothing phases him.

Fighters endure more wear and tear in training than they do under the spotlight on fight night. Championship fights last 36 minutes at most, training lasts weeks and months. Floyd is known for his gruelling training camps. To suggest he doesn't have ringwear because you haven't seen him take a beating in the ring is a joke.

Honestly I don't think 35 is old in boxing, I just think taht we believe that because by the age of 35 most boxers have taken too much punishment. have you noticed how boxer's in lighter weights have shorter careers??? That's because they get hit a lot more due to the punches being thrown at higher pace and landing more. With Floyd and Bernard's defensive style that doesn't happen.

That some actually believe Floyd is in his prime at 35 just goes to show how well Floyd has aged and what a great fighter he is and always has been.
