There's no question he has the highest Ring IQ in the fight game today - among the best ever, if not the absolute best.

Thanx for actually seeing it how it is. Floyd finally steps up to fight one of the elite's of his era and now we have the "he's not prime" excuse. Now watch somebody quote me "Cotto Elite???? :rofl:rofl:rofl"

Yep, but we're to believe that 35 is not old in boxing.

Not to mention Floyd will go down as the greatest fighter in the history of the 130lbs weight division on top of all of his other accomplishments. Yet, somehow, he's managed to dodge challenges and never stepped up in his career until now. Yawn.

nope. full credit win for Cotto. they both have seen better days and are over 30. BUT floyd losing to a young buck later in his career, there can be a case for aging. Floyd will be fighting outside of his weight class giving Cotto the chance to be comfortable but dont worry, Floyd will whoop Cottos ass on may 5th :good

No doubt. Makes it harder to recover, I'm sure.

Marquez is 38 and STILL can beat the breaks off these young bucks and has been in pleanty of 'wars". Morales held his own against Maidana above his weightclass. that "wars" **** is a myth. either u still got it or u dont.

****, before you even go to recover, one has to first get started....

That's the real *****. Every body has them days where you just "don't feel like it", well they start coming a hell of a lot more often.

Finally steps up, and gives us something that we wanted instead of the whole business thing. This one is a fight that fans have been craving for years because they saw Cotto as a legitimate threat to Floyd. This is a step up in class for Floyd.
