its not psycho analysing to say floyd is looking a bit nervous. you don't choke someone and stick your finger in their throat if your not trying to intimidate them. its not like ortiz has really done anything to cause bad blood between them. its just my opinion but i think floyd doesn't feel as confident about winning this fight as he did against, marquez, hatton and mosley.

He got mad boos at the Ricky Hatton fight and we all know how that turned out.

I'm pretty sure he doesnt care what you and I think, he just wants our money for the PPV and then we can think what we like. So in that case he is STILL winning!

If he DID care he would adjust his behaviour and has he?

    *Roger Voice* Alright Then!

Pac has NEVER called Mayweather out, has Pac ever called ANYONE out?

His fight against Mosely was good, his fight against Hatton was great. The only fight was mismatch was JMM.

Don't get me started on Pac's fights against Mosely/Clottey (which we all knew were gonna be rubbish) the only one he gets a pass for is maybe Margo, but hardly edge of the seat stuff!

Please if you are gonna hate be objective :good

The public isnt sold on Ortiz and that this will be a competitive fight, he is trying to sell the fight.

floyd been acting wild all year long... He has 0 fear of Ortiz but he does have a fear of losing his 0. You are giving tree bro too much credit. It's really a mix of other things.

That behavior had nothing to do with "selling" the fight!! He is a little insecure, because Ortiz in all their face to face meetings, hasent shown any respect and is not backing down at all.. This and the fact that all the fans was rooting for Ortiz, made him angry.
So what we saw was an angry Mayweather, that IMO croosed the line...It´s okay with a staredown nose to nose, and bad words flying. But to grab the opponent by the throat, the way he did,COULD have started a fight right there....Ortiz AGAIN was cool, and did not back down or showed nerves....Don´t touch you opponent before the fight,to me Floyd is loooking a little desperat...MAYBE a HUGE upset is comming fightnight.
Ortiz can but Floyd on his ass with one punch....So he can´t afford to loose his mind during the fight. It can cause him his 0...

I wasn't being a hater just stating my opinion. Maybe my take on being called out differs from yours but I have seen video of Pac himself stating that he wants to fight him. FMJ was quoted as saying something about finding it unbelievable how Americans could support a foriegner over him. I don't think he would've made that statement if it truly didn't bother him.

if pbf is the same pbf that fought hoya/hatton i give ortiz little chance. also, both manny and roach are picking pbf. furthermore, the line has not moved much and some places are offering ortiz at +250 and still have pbf at -550.

that is the greatest spread difference i have ever seen which tells you that the books dont want pbf money(sharps) and are getting large ortiz money(squares). the sharps are on pbf and the public is on ortiz. at +250, pbf should be -330.

    pbf by decision.

Every thread about Ortiz are saying are about KO even himself has said it himself ,when a fighter or training talks only a Ko they themselves has no confidence in winning the fight by descion. same thing Shane said as well as others. When the bell rings all what you learned goes out the window and Ortis will make so many mistakes this fight it will be unbelievable.Lets not forget that he was on the edge of getting stop his last fight. Berto never feinted onetime that fight and gets hit easily most of his fight. When Ortiz find how hard it is to hit Mayweather and eats right hands all day and can't see out of one of eyes that's when it will be stop.

This stage is too big for Ortiz.:fire:fire:fire

pbf has been in the professional fight game for some 15 years and is accostomed to big fights. and by big fights i mean crowds of 15k plus.

ortiz has been in one big fight his entire career that probably had less than 7k gate attendance.

pbf is just trying to sell the fight. any boxing handicapper will tell yout the exact same thing.

you can see in the video where he had to direct ortiz to perofrm the staredown. also, there is no bad blood here. none whatosover.

He's trying to sell the fight. He probably told Ortiz he was going to do that at the weigh in.

I'm convinced some of y'all just want **** to talk about. It would be nice to see a boxing forum full of non boxers (at least non professional boxers) stop claiming world class fighters are scared. I don't care if it's Ortiz, Floyd, Pac whoever. It takes balls to be willing to go in there and get hit for 12 rounds and possibly have half a brain left. the funny thing about this floyd's nervous or excited **** is when they first had their little press conference over a month ago, folks were asking why he was so passive and deferential. Can't have it both ways.

i didnt say scared. but floyd cares about that 0 more than anything and if there is any fear in floyd its about losing his unbeaten record. you cant deny floyd has chosen his opponents wisely over the last few years. i mean a crude ricky hatton who was used to fighting at light welter, a marquez who was used to fighting at super feather weight or light weight, and a shane mosley who was well passed his best.

he obviously chose ortiz because he see's a guy without a jab, and who has quit in the past. its a style floyd should be able to beat, but noone can tell me ortiz isn't dangerous! he's in his prime, is faster and hits harder than mayweathers last 3 opponents and has shown in his last fight he actually does have heart.

i can see ortiz putting his all in this fight and with his size and power being very dangerous. i reckon mayweather may be having some slight doubts compared to his previous fights. he knows he's going to have to be on his game otherwise he's in trouble.

The seed of doubts in his mind must be either Peterson or Maidana... You know that when you create winds, you collect stroms. Well, Floyd by TKO 8.
