what was he thinking retiring??? he leaves the sport right when the competition in his division gets 10 times better than it was.He needs to come back and show that he's the best ever. There's about 4 or 5 guys out there that could be big fights for him(if i left any out feel free to add their names) margarito, cotto, berto, moseley, paul williams(complete mismatch but pbf would find a way to beat him). Also pac man which would be a mega fight if he gets by de la hoya.

He will come back. I find it funny how many people believed he was actually retiring.

He's taking a break. In 6 months time, there will likely be an absolutely HUGE match on the table.

If Pac beats DLH, Pac-Floyd will be a SUPERFIGHT (more hyped than dlh-floyd amongst boxing fans).

If DLH beats Pac, Oscar will fight Margarito. Whoever wins that will fight Floyd in a superfight.

He'll come back when the time is right IMO.

Floyd cares about his legacy. I think he does at least.

He really is 2 big wins away from becoming unanimous top 10 atg imo.

You're bringing up names like Mayweather retired yesterday. Let me remind you of something.

When Mayweather retired Berto was hardly known at that point and barely mentioned, Clottey coming off a loss to Margarito, Margarito coming off a loss to Williams, Cotto only 2 weeks before Mayweather announced his retirement passed the Mosley test and started the "Mayweather call out" hype Arum was timing for him. 10x better?, don't think so.

Only name to mention at that point was Paul Williams, how is that 10x better?

Floyd could fight another 10 fights with his condition and talent. I would like to see him against Pac, Margo, Cotto and P. Williams...if he beats them he is a top 10 ATG for shure.

He'll most likely come back. Fighters usually do.

He's only been boxing for basically his whole life. That itch will be too much to handle.

mayweather will only fight DLH again or a small pacman if he pulls off a surprise victory

Yes. Not only that but there is soooo much incentive for him to come back and have 2-3 more fights...

Mayweather is probably spying a potential Pac fight if he beats DLH. If DLH wins then he will fight him.

Wouldnt be suprised to see him take a Wembley rematch against hatton, would be a big payday

    vs pac is another sideshow.....

Yea that is a good point, maybe it wasn't as good then but right now it's hot and he needs to get his name back in there and fight the guys everyone said he's been ducking. The last thing anybody would want to see is a hatton or dlh rematch because we know what will happen

Please he didnt fight the best competition when he was here, why would he come back and do it. If he comes back he will most likely fight Oscar again, who needs that?
