How likely is it the winner's & loser's from each bout face each other in 2008? I think it's logical for the each winner to meet next spring, continuing the run of competitive bouts we are about to embark on until the year's out. State who you feel the winner/loser will be and how a fight between them would play out in your view?
I think hatton will beat mayweather in a very entertaining fight and mosley will dominate cotto, and that could ruin mosley vs mayweather, but that means it will be oscar vs hatton next year and i hope cotto doesn't fade away like trinidad.
I think both Mayweather and Mosley win their fights - setting up a fight between them next year. If Hatton wins - he's facing Oscar - regardless of the outcome of Mosley/Cotto. If Cotto wins and Mayweather wins - it could set up a fight between them next year. Even though I think Cotto/De la Hoya would be a bigger fight. But as we all read - Oscar's wife doesn't want him to fight any Puerto Rican fighter. If this is the case - there goes one hell of a fight. My question is if Cotto and Hatton both loses - and Mayweather/Mosley happens next year - whom does that leave for Oscar to face? Doesn't seem right fighting the losers.
Floyd will never face Cotto, until he shows signs of weakness - else I need to realter my perception of him. He will fight Mosley however - regardless. I am not much a fun of Hatton, but I think he will face either Cotto or Mosley should he win against PBF. Hatton and Cotto could turn out to be bloody messy - in a good way.
Oscar has already expressed interest in fighting Hatton - so I can't see Hatton taking any other fight - if he was to win. I still think Cotto/De la Hoya is a better fight.
Hatton is too small for all three. He needs to stay away from money fights and just go for legacy by cleaning out 140 (and don't tell me he already did...that was then and this is now).
