Mayweather would own Hatton mentally. Floyd proved it in the ring. Frustrated Hatton all night and made him walk into the check hook. KO, thats all she wrote.

    Floyd has ring IQ.

Outside of that, he has all the intelligence of one of those semi literate idiots with a distinct lack of social skills. This also shows in his interviews too.

How this guy and a Filipino who can barely speak English without saying 'Uhhhhh' came to be the face of boxing I'll never know.

:lol: LOL. Funny post. Bust seriously, I think Floyd is way more intelligent then people give him credit for he's just not an articulate speaker.

Very true...you can tell he is analytical and smart...just not very articulate.

Plus, being intelligent in boxing is no different from being intelligent in other areas...you have to have a higher level of comprehension than others.

It would have been really funny Hatton was actually a really funny fella, in comparison Mayweather is a clown.

EVERYBODY was talking about the fight, even kids at school.

It was being plugged everywhere, even by stations who weren't covering it like the BBC, Channel 5 and ITV. It was massive.

Sky sold the fight amazingly well.

24/7 was just the icing on the cake, two contrasting personalities, undefeated fighters, Hatton with his humour, Mayweather with his brashness, Billy Graham with his swearing and then throw in Roger Mayweather for some hilarious soundbites (the Bill Gates line cracks me up even today) and you have an amazing concoction.

They'll never replicate that spark again unfortunately.
