In what ways is this a fanboy thread? :patsch

Mayweather is a Team Elite ambassador, my posting history is littered with glowing praise for the greatest fighter since Sugar Ray Leonard. However, when Money May pulls this kind of ****, The Team Elite Corporation will see straight through the smoke and the mirrors and call a spade a spade :deal

Hatton is not remotely a hero, how could you possibly have that perception of me, on what basis are you making this ridiculous assumption? :huh

The Khan fight is a joke fight, even the British aren't interested in watching this delusional, glass jawed berk get man-handled by Money May.

Either post in a rational intelligent manner or do not sully a Team Elite superthread again with your ill-educated,dreary, mundane presence :nono

Some one who says that Mayweather should rather fight Kell Brook than Khan after how Kell brook **** his pants so many times from Devon Alexander, almost got knocked down by OAP Senchenko, and went life and death with Carson jones has no right to take the **** out of Khan fighting and looking bad to Diaz. Diaz is 10 times better opposition the Carson jones. diaz drew with shaun porter in the fight before fighting khan so he obviously isnt no bum

Profile views are the equivalent of PPV buys and whilst i continue to shatter all current records with the huge interest in my every move, you are flying under the radar like a punch-drunk journey man :lol::lol::lol::rofl

You even attempting to debate with me is the equivalent of 'Magic' Matthew Hatton demanding a fight with Floyd 'Money' Mayweather and also demanding a 50-50 split of the purse :rofl:nut

I say this in the nicest way possible without coming off offensive.

Mayweather could beat Khan, Hatton and Kell Brook all in the same night. I know that might sound like a hyperbolic statement, but I truly believe he could beat all those guys on the same night.

And I stopped reading the OP's essay at the point he said Mayweather's financial handler's have mismanaged him.

Oh really? A guy that made 9 figures last year and has been the highest paid athlete in the world for a couple years now?

We must differ greatly on what we consider to be proper financial management.

You believe a limited plodder like Hatton earning more money than Mayweather from their fight as good financial management :lol::lol::lol::rofl

Mayweather has been managed very well, making as much money as possible for the least danger possible during his career but on this occasion his team made a monumental fuk up in the negotiations and Mayweather has spent the past 6 years looking for a way back into the UK ppv market :deal

Good thread, and well said. The American'ts are being overly defensive here, i wonder why that is?

Mayweather is foolishly following in the footsteps of the narrow minded yanks who so often beleive that British people follow their fighters regardless of who that person is... big mistake.

Wicky Hatton was a once in a lifetime fighter. He had the nation following his every move which resulted in big PPV's,

Khan does not do that. Floyd must think he will strike oil with this farce, he assumes he will get all that delicious UK pie, as well as a lot of that Muslim pie from around the world. Not going to happen. Khan could not even fill the Sheffield arena against that bum Diaz in his UK comeback fight... and you think the Muslims will want to pay their money to watch a fellow muslim who drinks alcahol, snorts coke, has affairs and eats bacon sandwiches?

Khan is done, everyone knows it, expect this PPV to be a fail. I expect Floyd will put a major undercard on, to distract from the reality that his cherry picked opponant offers nothing

    Ridiculous statements.

1 - Brook had legimate injury for Alexander, you think anybody would be scared of Devon Alexander :lol::lol::rofl

I suppose you think that David Haye was scared of Tyson Fury and that Joe Calzaghe was scared of Jeff 'Left Hook' Lacy :rofl

2 - Brook completely dominated Senchenko and was never 'almost knocked down' you agenda driven troll..

3 - Yes Brook went life and death with Jones but that was clearly due to the horrific broken nose Brook received from head clash in that fight. Brook dominated the early stages of that fight and then after the nose injury Brook dipped because of the huge amount of blood he was swallowing. However this is where Brook proved he was destined for greatness in my book - you look at a fighter and study them hard when faced with adversity, some fighters like Alexander, Roy Jones, Hopkins, Golotta, Cintron, Ortiz look for a way out or fold in adversity where as real greats like Ali, Leonard, Calzaghe and Mayweather produce their best when its all on the line. Brook passed his gut check and managed to soak up the punishment and rally to win the decisive last round. Checkout the rematch without all the blood swallowing = complete beatdown of Jones by Brook :deal

4 - Diaz is a fuking bum you gormless hyena - who has he ever beat? He's lost to every half-decent fighter he's ever fought and he smashed Khan up and had Khan's spaghetti legs bouncing all over the ring for 4 rounds. Diaz got a draw with shaun Porter  Porter is just an american hype job who won a close decision against fellow hype-job Devon Alexander - big fuking deal. Checkout what Kotelnik did to Alexander :yep

Its not even a guarantee that this fight ends up on PPV over in the UK. Floyd's last few fights have been on Boxnation as was Khan's last fight.

Khan does do fabulous ratings in the UK:

    14/07/2007 Khan-Limmond 3.5 million (ITV1 #26)
    08/12/2007 Khan-Earl 4.14 million (ITV1 #22)
    02/02/2008 Khan-St Clair 4.15 million (ITV1 #29)
    05/04/2008 Khan-Kristjansen 4.37 million (ITV1 #21)
    21/06/2008 Khan-Gomez 3.98 million (ITV #18 )

In a country 1/5 the size of the US, so here that would be more like 20 million viewers, just to put that into context.

His following in the US isn't that bad either since he consistently gets more than a million viewers on HBO a subscription network.

5/15/2010 HBO Amir Khan vs. Paulie Malignaggi 1,228,000
12/11/2010 HBO Amir Khan vs. Marcos Maidana 1,170,000
7/23/11 HBO Amir Khan vs. Zab Judah 1.4 million
12/10/11 HBO Lamont Peterson vs. Amir Khan 1.3 million
7/14/12 HBO Danny Garcia vs. Amir Khan 1.3 million

The man definitely gets ratings and the fact that he's believed to have a china chin will only make it easier for him to get good opponents to fight him. It's another smart business move by Mayweather. He's fighting a guy who can give him the most money for the least amount of risk.

The difference in those numbers is that they are not PPV ..I wonder how those numbers would look if they were on PPV.

Excellent points HEAD, which correctly points out the future PPV potential of The Special One.

Mayweather should throw his guillable fanboy Broner under the bus so to speak and into the path of Brook, by suggesting he use Brook as a comeback fight knowing full well Broner would be murdered (Broner is a stupid as the many of the posters on here and would probably believe Mayweather if he told him Brook was an easy fight ).

If a limited Argentine journeyman can enter the Mayweather sweepstakes after beating hype job Broner, Brook can also come to the attention of the American public when he forces Broner to leave on a stretcher in a beatdown so one sided it would make Calzaghe v Lacy look competitive. :vonnecunt

From there in the latter part of the year Brook would have little problems taking a paper title from the likes of Marcos Maidana or Shawn Porter (or both) to set up a huge mega money unification showdown with Mayweather and giving Money his sternest test to date, which may even result in some money spinning rematches. :deal
