    PBF UD 117-110

Hatton has got problems why because to win against PBF you need to be great at two things cutting off the Ring and you need to be able to jab.

Hatton cant do either well. and he isnt great at counter punching either.

Hatton is going to struggle big time. sorry to the Hatton fans but i wouldnt pick Hatton against someone with that sort of quickness and great defense.

Yea I would see Mayweather being 2 quick for Hatton...in evasion, movement, jabs, combos and counters.

Should be a great buildup with Hatton having a fair chance of spoiling Mayweathers day

The way I see it, Hatton uses his clinching to negate his opponent's power - but if he isn't concerned about his opponents power, he doesn't clinch as much - compare the Tszyu and Castillo fights.

I don't think he's going to be too concerned about PBF's power, in fact, I wonder if PBF might end up badly damaging his hands hitting Hatton, and not having any effect on him?

PBF is very elusive and an excellent counterpuncher, but if Hatton wades in, shrugs off his counters and gets him on the ropes like DLH and Castillo did, PBF might be tempted to slug it out to get Hatton off him.

That sounds true. I have to say though, that I've hardly seen any of hatton's or Floyd's fights. I've only seen 4 of Floyds, and 3 of Hattons. Though I am also very pumper for this fight. :good

Although his last few fights Hatton hasnt been cut up on the face he will be in this fight. Hatton probably has all the advantages except for the 2 critical ones SPEED and SKILL. PBF will win by cleaner precise punching

Agree with this to some extent, but I dont think it will be an easy fight. My belief is that this fight is about skills & silks vs the will to win. In my book the stronger will wins 60% of the time. Add to this Hatton's surging style, which is quite unique, and my belief that he does an effective job of cutting off & cornering opponents; then I think for Hatton the success rate is raised to 70% (being totally scientific here off course).

Hatton ate some big Costya bombs in the Tzyu fights, but just shrugged them off & landed heaps on the body. My money will be on Hatton to win by TKO in rnds 9 - 11 as I am convinced this fight is not going the distance.

The last interesting thing is that if you look at Ricky & forget about about his record, you would not give him a chance against most fighters, and yet he wins through every time. The interesting thing about Floyd, with all his skills is that a number of fighters have taken him the distance, and most of his wins are by UD or TKO. I just cannot see him taking Ricky by TKO other than having bad cut. That leaves him having to go 12 rounds with Ricky. If he makes it he will get the decision, but he will be calling for his mommy after the fight.

I goin for Hatton. PBF is a great boxers BUT i just wanna see him lose!!!! And see what he would do than. :p

I can see the fight being really good. I mean they both have had a few nasty words to say to each other and that should turn into fireworks in the ring.

Hatton MD, too busy, he should throw more punches and get the dec IMO.

Sorry boys, but Mayweather wins this comfortably.
I reckon around about 117-111. Just too quick & too elusive for Hatton the hugger.

I am picking Floyd to take a UD. Floyd stuggles with effective pressure, but I don't think Hattons is that effective in a lot of ways. Hatton sets a frantic pace, but Floyd is very fit, and Hatton leaves himself too open when coming in. Mayweather is a great mover, and will not be there to smother for Hatton. I agree with Carltons post, in that the amount Hatton is allowed to hold will dictate the outcome of the fight to some degree. I am picking Mayweather by UD though.

To all the guys who think Hatton will win.... If Kostya (who is not a natural counter puncher, and like most euro fighters doesn't like getting backed up) could tag him coming in off the back foot, imagine what Mayweather will do, one of the fastest and best counter punchers in boxing. Mayweather had trouble against guys like Castillo because they maintain excellent defense whilst closing the distance, where as Hatton throws wildly and tries to use his physicality to break down his opponents. Mayweather is all wrong for Hatton IMO.

Why SD as opposed to UD? Are you prediciting the judging to be corrupt or poor?
