    Agreed..
I think the issue is really this..
Mayweather fights for paychecks. The only people who maybe care about that are his charities and some of the less fortunate folks down on Vegas and Bonanza...

Most fans get nothing from Mayweather's checks.

So we gravitate to fighters who go for the gusto, go for the glory.. a John Wayne type of guy...

    my 2 cents

This is the thing. Floyd has been too quiet which isn't very Floyd like. Remember after JMM called him out, he was all over the media announcing the fight with no hesitations. But after saying "all Pac has to do is call me out", when Pac called him out, a complete silence from Floydie. And now this with Shane. No news and a complete silence again, fans are anxious to hear anything from the loud mouth, anything... :deal

You mean when Pac was saying he would back when he "retired". Then when Floyd makes a comeback Pacquiao refuses to say he wants to fight Floyd. Like when he was repeatedly asked if he would fight Floyd after the Hatton fight? and Cotto fight? but never gave an answer? Then?

It's kinda sad.. Mayweather is strictly 100% business nowadays. I do have a feeling he's just going to wait for the Pac fight now.

????? WTF you were saying? man, I am not this disrepectful, but you really need to clear your mouth of that ****, and get your head staright.

Floyd could have waited few hours for the Pac-Hatton fight. If he did, there would surely never had been Pac-Cotto yet. :deal

The Floyd-Marquez fight was originally set for July. And why would Floyd wait weeks after the Pacman-Hatton fight to finally just sign contract to get in the ring. And it would have been dumb to fight the current biggest fighter on your first fight back Firstly, you need to build anticipation...and also he needed a tune up..

All of these articles are based on Michael Marley's gossip piece; we all need to STFU until a legit outlet has more info.

I have little doubt this fight will happen. I think PBF is just playing a PR game to get a higher percentage.
