Would be a MUCH BIGGER Win then Khan. Another division champ by Floyd.

Im sure Pete/Floyd could meet at 158

Floyd would definitely win,and probably be impressive.

Quillin is of similar level to Canelo, just a lil bigger and a bigger punch. Floyd would school him

*** plz dont bring up GGG, cause Floyd=SHO GGG = hbo, not happening

I don't think Quillin could drop much past 160. And while it would be a better victory than Khan at this point, Quillin's done very little to build his name value. Hell Maidana might be a more compelling B-side than him in terms of recognizability, which is a shame since Quillin is the one born in the US.

Floyd has proven himself at 154, beating three champions there. He's been in the 147-154 range for about eight years now. Unlike Pacquiao, Floyd hasn't lost ever(Castillo fight factored out), much less of late. He doesn't have to fight Middleweights, but it's ridiculous to me how some people get super-defensive about even the prospect of him doing so. All of the fighters at Middleweight have flaws, Quillin's being more obvious than most. Floyd taking on one of the Middleweight champs would be good for his legacy, and hardly a huge Hagler-esque stretch.

That said, if he's not going to fight Middleweights, he needs to be fighting some better competition at Welterweight and Light Middleweight to compensate. As in Lara, Garcia, Bradley, Pacquiao, etc. But that's not what Floyd's about so we likely get Khan instead.

Peter Quillin is 6'0 he bigger then Floyd in every possible way, this would be very stupid ..

Floyd is slow at 154 he will be even slower going any higher in weight.. Fighting a full fledge middle weight at 150 is would not be an advantage for floyd, but a handicap.

Mayweather is held to a higher standard than Pacquiao because he's just flat out better.

    Deal with it. :smoke

Correction: Floyd is "slower" at 154, but he is still faster than any top 10 154 lb fighters.

100% agree. Quillen is a much bigger fight than the Khan mismatch and Mayweather would probably beat Quillen as well.

Mayweather beats everyone from 154 down and probably everyone at 160 as well. I'd really like to see Mayweather-Martinez, Golovkin, Lara, and Quillen.

I don't know why anyone would complain about seeing Mayweather move up and challenge a middleweight even if its above his best fighting weight.

When your options are Mayweather vs someone who has little to no chance at 147-154 or seeing him at 160 with someone who actually has a chance then it seems crazy not to want to see him move up. Most greats in the past have done it and I'd like to see Floyd do it as well.
