6 times per round is obviously excessive clinching which requires a warning and disqualification if continued, whether you like it or not. What's stupid is suggesting it's proper defense. There is nothing in the rules that states I can't clinch after throwing a punch.

 

Of course there is no number that enforces a disqualification. But that doesn't mean you can base your defense on clinching going as far as clinching twice per minute. That's why people think Vegas is corrupt where Floyd can get away with 70 clinches a fight without having a single point deducted and people go as far as defending this nonsense with "referee discretion".
