I just watched this fight a week or so ago (Mayweather vs Corley) and that video clip is very misleading, there is a reason they cut it short and didnt show beyond 14 seconds... because Mayweather took the punch very well and recovered quickly, he slips and blocks the follow up shots very well and gets right back into the fight. But they dont want you to see that so they cut it short and only show the monster shot that landed but not how well he shook it off.
He was very focused for this fight it was his first at 140 and he was unusually aggressive and brawling with Corley to prove a point that he was big enough for 140 and could be exciting because people were beginning to complain that he was boring. I just wish we would see that attitude from him more.
Yes, it is amazing. Apart from being a superior technically schooled boxer with tremendous speed and motivation, he also has a near-iron chin. The man has never been knocked down legitimately (though Judah unofficially had him touching the canvas with a glove), despite ten years of fighting top opposition in weight classes higher than his own.
he was hurt in the first round against hatton. a left jab from hatton rocked him and mayweather backpedalled and took about 10 seconds to recover. lucky enough for him hatton couldnt capitalised. i think ricky was as suprised as mayweather
Chop Chop knows PBF very well. They often spar together. If this is the only footage of Floyd being hurt, hes had a hell of a career.:thumbsup
