WE both know he will...ive been saying all along that he is gonna fight Pac...If he does fight Pac than that proves he doesn't mind fighting the best too...If you fighting the best in the world than there is nobody else..

Manny proved he was the best in the world Sat night and if Floyd signs on the dotted line than that in itself proves he not "scared" of the best

    Facts:

    Floyd -- 19 years old (1996) -- 131 lbs
    Pac ---- 19 years old (1998) -- 112 lbs
Floyd 19 lbs. heavier at the same age

    Floyd -- 5' 8.0" --- 72" reach
    Pac ---- 5' 6.5" --- 67" reach

So, Floyd = about 19 lbs heavier, naturally; 1.5" taller; 5" more reach.

PBF is a couple of divisions heavier, naturally, than Pac. Forget about what they were at 16 years old. This is post-puberty/adolescence or whatever.

For comparison, Cotto has the same reach (67") as Pacquiao. And we all recall how Floyd physically towered over JMM.

Pac is smaller. Considerably smaller. There's no real way around that, no matter how Team PBF tries to spin stories about being 16.

    *

There's a reason why PBF and his fans are so eager to face Pac. Well, at least his fans are, anyways. They all saw the JMM fight and know how much trouble JMM has given a similar-sized guy in Pac. They think this is PBF's shortcut to getting back his P4P crown and taking the heat off of the hottest guy in the sport, and one of the hottest guys in all sports.

If Pac wants to make it at a catchweight, that's his call. He's the mega-star now. He has surpassed Mayweather in that regard, both for his professional accomplishments and because people prefer his fighting style. The PPV numbers should confirm this. So, he's going to have leverage from that.

Numbers do not command respect. Those are statistics. People do not get inspired by Unanimous Decisions that are expected. They Get inspired by unexpected dominance and force of will. There is no boxing drama to Floyd, he does what is expected of him and no longer surprises anybody. He's like a template of a good boxer, a textbook to the learning child but will never be a technically flawed fighter who will rise to the occasion and make our jaws drop.

how does that make sense. Not in my book. I am not a Mayweather fan, but if he beats Manny, manny is not far greater. For doing what? His last 3 wins are impressive, but those guys still were all beaten within the last 1 1/2 of fighting him.

The ones in blue held belts at the weight they fought Mayweather. The ones in yellow held belts in the weight class below (in JMM's case, 2 weight classes down).

Shaky accounting by PBF, but that IS 13.

Pac is the same damn size. he is a welterwieght now. he has bulked up nicely, and that is the division he wants to fight in. if he thinks he is too small then he should drop down to a lower division other wise no excuses.

Pac has no standing to make a cathcweight. the PPV numbers support Floyd. Pac should be happy if he gets 50-50.

That's the point Pac gets better and better as he grows older but pfb is otherwise ( i do respect his skills though). Pbf's achivement and attitude is getting worse.

Really what was the numbers from the Pac cotto fight? how can you say you know? if pacs fight against cotto does more, Does that mean floyd should get less and be happy according to your reasoning?

Also pac is the pfp # 1 not may and holds the belt not may so again who should feel lucky? Hell mayweather hasnt fought a good welter the whole time hes been there Pac has already beat the arguably best champ at 147 his first year and second fight in the division.
