1. So you agree that NSAC testing for EPO is not/was not completely ruled out. There is also no evidence that Pac requested for only certain types of drug to be tested for.

2. I don't think NSAC has it's own lab. I think Pac just wants NSAC to oversee the testing process. (choosing when to collect urine, which lab analyze the sample...)

 

I'll freely admit I am not familiar with the timing of the back and forth negotiations and who agreed to what and when. If Pac's camp initially agreed to USADA testing, it might have been before Manny knew there would be random blood testing up to the day of the fight. I am not aware of any accounts where Manny himself said he was ok with blood being drawn up to the day of the fight.

Bottom line is this, neither fighter wanted this fight bad enough to back down from their positions.

When I evaluate contradictory comments out of Pac's camp during the negotiations, I can see how they could occur if people were speaking about what they thought was acceptable prior to consulting Manny first.

I look at the contradictory statements out of Mayweather's camp regarding Pacquiao prior to and post Cotto, and it looks like a team that saw something that amazed them and they are shook. How else do you explain a belief that Manny is on some ancient drug Filipinos used to make themselves bulletproof? This from the same guy that previously said Manny had balls for taking the Cotto fight.
