If Pac takes the fight on May 5th, a combination of the drug test (draw blood) at a date close to the fight combined with the really bad cut all the way to the bone opening during the fight, could lead to Pac being too weak to get off his stool let alone lift his arms above his waist. This of course does not apply to Pac vs JMM because there won't be any blood drawn so Pac will still have some blood in reserve incase the cut opens which is why they can fight in May no problems. Cheers Mate, being reading threads on this forum for awhile now and threads like these brighten up my day at the office and I couldn't resist joining in on the fun hahaha.
Cotto's right hand is much more educated than it was in the past and pre car accident he used the right hand to help cut off the ring and execute the left hook. Clottey is a difficult fight for most because he's extremely defensive minded he doesnt create many opportunities but to say he "beat" Cotto is a stretch. Of course the difference in the fight was Cotto putting Clottey on his arse in the first round with one of his "predictable and painfully slow" jabs.
http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/...d.php?t=367136 Says Cotto may be meeting with Team Mayweather at the WBC convention in Vegas (which is taking place this week). See 3rd post for the translation.
I thought he beat cotto too, but I thought marquez beat pacquiao too, and lots of people who disagree with that will drop the cliche, "they didn't take the title," whatever the hell that really means.
So Floyd thinks Clottey beat Cotto, same as a lot of people on ESB. Floyd thinks JMM beat Pacquiao, same as a lot of people on ESB.. Floyd says Cotto would be an easy fight. Floyd says Pac would be an easy fight. ----- Am I right so far? This dude makes this thread to try and discredit a Cotto matchup based off Mayweather saying the same kind of stuff about him as he does Pacquiao.. And he does it by saying Mayweather may be meeting Cotto according to sources, none being Mayweather himself.. ----- Am I still getting this? My question to you Paul... Where's your threads on Pac's team ducking a Mayweather fight? If Pac would take the Floyd fight there wouldn't be any Cotto fight correct? But Pac's team is going on about a cut that won't heal, a 4th fight with JMM (that you endorse) and Mayweather's court cases(although Arum said they'd drop the case if Floyd wants to fight).. Do you not see why your thread is being laughed at and not taken seriously? And it's far from just Floyd fans doing it... :huh
