I thought Clottey won as well but I don't have a problem if someone thought Cotto won.

Please add: Retired for two years when the WW division was at its peak, came back and fought a LW.

another one that only noticed Pacquiao after the Dela Hoya fight.

When Floyd fought Oscar and Hatton, Pac was not even seriously considered a legit opponent against those 2, well except that original *******, PacDBest.

So in other words, you're just pulling this out of your arse?

Sad, indeed. Especially from a member of the 'sports media' like yourself. :patsch

  10. Not surprised... He probably thinks Al Sharpton is sincere too. Gotta love it when they "keep it real..." The reality is blacks will never vote for a non black or give credit to the other guy. Cotto fought and beat Clottey with a bad gash.

I was rooting for Cotto in the fight. Hell when Cotto grows his hair out, he has an afro. :rofl Like someone said, mix a Mexican and a Black person and you get a Puerto Rican. Hell look at Tito. You know Cotto got black blood down the line.

However, he lost that fight son.

  12. The best thing that happened to PRs is the mix... That hardcore native stock is hard to look at. Just look at my Avi. :admin

And yes, Cotto has black blood too... but he does not have that idiotic mindset where he "keeps it real" regardless of REALITY.

Mexicans, are more Indian than PRs for sure... not sure if that is a good thing or not though. :hi:

Cotto did lose to Clottey, Cotto vs Maywetaher would not be competitive, really hope this fight doesn't get made. if only pac would grow some balls

  14. Clottey should learn to cut off the ring and fight like a guy with enough SKILL to win a fight.

Cotto beat Clottey. You should ask yourself why it is that you have a need to down Cotto? Does it make you feel better about being what you are? :happy

Maybe you need to step your self-esteem up a notch. Hating causes cancer son.

I had cotto winning by a point but Clottey didn't deserve to win the guy trow away the fight worse than De la Hoya, He let a blodied faded Cotto steal the last few rounds.
