Mayweather: If the Canelo or Trout fight presents itself then we will make it happen

Notice that Void never mentions Sergio Martinez? Martinez has offered to fight Void at 154 and even 150, remember, Martinez used to fight at 147, yet Void still runs like a chicken. El Pollo Void.................

 

What other PPV worthy fight is there(at JMW) if Trout defeats Canelo? Keep in mind that this new CBS/Showtime deal has changed things a bit so they aren't just going to approve any old matchup. They are investing a TON of money in Floyd so they are going to want compelling matchups that will sell.

CBS will undoubtedly use every resource at its disposal to advertise his fights. This means that a Floyd/Trout matchup, that wouldn't have been considered PPV worthy before, would now be a viable option.

 

I already said Danny Garcia and that would be a bigger fight than Trout:deal Showtime wants big fights they also want Floyd to win.

Well, I wouldn't be surprised if he fights Trout assuming Trout beats Canelo. Floyd will fight a nobody like Guerrero after all, he's selling this fight on his name alone, he'd do the same with Trout.

 

then why fight Trout? When you can fight a smaller guy? Guerrero's story will help sell the fight

 

one thing people are assuming is Canelo will be fighting Trout that fight is not a done deal yet

 

difference is that if Trout beats Canelo there's higher paying opponents than Trout out there but if Canelo wins it's a mega money fight that Floyd will take.

if the fight are not higher than Trout they are equal and not at 154 so Floyd will chose the 147 fight . The Canelo fight is a mega fight Floyd would have to take.

 

Floyd is full of it - I'd be surprised if he fights the winner of Canelo V Trout - anything he signed will have lots of conditions attached to enable him to get out of it

 

I just read this interview and I was happy to hear him say he would fight Trout. I think Trout is going to win anyway and I think it would be terrible if he didn't get the fight with Floyd.

I hope he keeps his word and by the sounds of things he has had to certainly agree to fight Canelo in September to get him to fight on the undercard of May 4th.

 

He also said he would fight Martinez, said "Pacquiao's next" - Floyd says a lot, but doesn't do much...

only reason i dont floyd will fight the winner of canelo/trout is because i dont see floyd fighting at 154 again.
