However, did Mosely agree to throw the fight to get Void to sign? If not, Mosely will stop Void.

Breaking down and a stoppage are two different things to me. What Mayweather did to Judah was breaking down an opponent to my way of thinking. What Marg. did to Cotto, regardless of the glove situation, was a brutal beatdown.

When's the last time Mayweather didn't predict a KO?

No way he stops Mosley. Mayweather wouldn't take the risk of getting hit by jumping on Marquez, does anyone really think he'd jump on Mosley?

I think a KO in this fight is possible, but it won't be Shane getting knocked out.

i really don't see floyd putting out any kind of real offense against mosley. too risky for too little reward. mayweather has all the tools to make this one of those memorable, classic fights, but he won't do it. he's just not a fighter anymore. his true fighting days are over and he's going to continue to be all defense for the remainder of his career, imo, and it's a sad thing.

especially sad considering mosley will do everything he possibly can to make this a fight for the ages and it will probably just end up another mayweather snooze-fest. i sure hope not.

PBF wins this fairly easy, but Mosley has more than a puncher's chance. A betting man and an ESB poll would favor PBF by UD at about 75%.

I wouldn't be surprised of an SD.
I don't think Floyd is talking about putting Mosley down on the canvas. Not a few big punch, more like giving score shots the whole 12 rounds.

I agree with you totally. Hey, Mosley can win this fight, but I sure as hell ain't betting on it.

I don't know the context of the quote, but people do realize that you can break someone down without actually knocking them out right?

Perhaps this wasn't what Mayweather was referring to in this particular quote, but the point still stands.

For example, Mayweather completely and utterly broke Judah down in their fight, despite it going the distance (I question whether it would have without the round 10 fiasco, but that's another topic).

I think he might embarass Shane on his way towards a wide UD, but no way he knocks Mosley out.

Breaking down a fighter doesnt mean knocking him out.

It means figuring him out and attacking his weak points while not letting him hit you.

Floyd-Judah was breaking down a fighter.

Hops-Pavlik was breaking down a fighter.

You guys need to brush up on your boxing lingo.

    :good Thank you.

But again, we don't know the context of the quote. For all intents and purposes, Mayweather may have been referring to stopping Shane. Although I find that unlikely.
