Mayweather: "I'll break [Mosley] down."

If Mosely prepares well enough for the fight, he himself can just box and backpedal for 2 min and then just let it all go for 1 min, Floyd may be stuff, Sugar is damn fast too, and powerful. But most likely PBF will win.

I'd kill for PBF to 'Fight' instead of box.

i think floyd will have to dig deep to win. he won't knock mosley down, let alone knock him out in my opinion. i think the fight will be a lot better than people expect. could be even better than pacquiao and clottey.

 

Huge mosley fan here but I have to agree with floyds statement, i predict a UD for floyd with floyd coming on strong in the later rounds, and making shane show his age.

 

I dont think Floyd will stop Mosely & I dont think thats his plan either... just like Mosely saying he`s slicker & will outbox Mayweather... he`s not gonna try that & Floyd`s not gonna try for the KO either, both guys are gonna do what they do best & my money is always on the pure boxer with the superior punch accuracy & defence.

Should be a very interesting fight tho.

I'll break him down" are the quotes, it's similar to when Ellerbe said "He’s going to face all of the top welterweights and one by one, knock them all off" and the Pac fans with poor comprehension skills thought it meant he was going to knock all of the top welterweights out.

Its not impossible. Mosley has become more hittable as he has progressed in age and Mayweather has a very crisp jab and great counterpunching acumen. Also a twleve round fight is plenty of time to break any man down. Considering Mayweather is a very good body puncher and is so acurrate its a possiblity. Even when Mayweather doesnt knock guys out, he drops them and bruises them and punishes them and systematically break them down....for example all these guys had never been stopped until Mayweather did it Corrales, Corley, Ricky Hatton, and busted up Judah and Marquez

 

Mosley's heat is straight up in the air. People may be looking at this fight all wrongly. Everyone sees the fight as Mosley being the one person that has enough speed and strenght to beat floyd, but how about Floyd being the one person with enough speed, quickness and accuracy to STOP Shane. Just food for thought. I KNOW if this fight was discussed immediately after Shanes fight with Mayorga it wouldn't even be thought to be competitive.
