"We are from different eras. Muhammad was the greatest of his time, but people forget he lost to Leon Spinks in Spinks’ 8th bout, or something like that. We are two different fighters in two different eras, but I have never lost a fight and have grossed the most ever as a boxer," Mayweather said.

Hasn't lost....YET. Besides, there have been quite a few undefeated fighters to retire, and retire with a better record than his...Some actually even fought better opposition.

Compare their level of opposition and it's ez to see how he's undefeated.

Mayweather embarrasses himself every time he opens his mouth.

Floyd proved himself against Corrales, Castillo, a past-prime Oscar, Hatton at welterweight, and Zab Judah.

Ali proved himself against Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier, George Foreman, Ken Norton, Earnie Shavers, Floyd Patterson, Archie Moore, etc.

If Floyd had fought and really turned it on against Tszyu, Mosley, Williams, Cotto and Margarito, then perhaps he could say he beat the best of his era. But he didn't. Ali did. It's a no contest.

115-113 Castillo. The neutrals know it, the Floyd fans deny it, Castillo was the better man on that night.

    38-1.

Why is he even mentioning the Spinks fight? Ali was well past it by then and he still won the rematch.

he might be a better boxer....but a better fighter, not ever
Ali is a more proven, more complete fighter than Mayweather could ever hope to be

    Oh well! He's 38-1!

    Oh ****, the worlds over!!

:patsch What point are you proving you think he lost?

Nothing, if anything it makes him greater.
