Again people cling to our past fighters because back then they weren't fighting for the paychecks of today back then it was more competition driven but they also fought everyone because they HAD TOO money wise...they couldnt afford to turn down the money the more fights the more money the story of SRR's life.

Secondly like someone said earlier you just can't compare todays fighters with yesterdays....its just not possible whatever your opinion will heavily be weighed on by the fact that you consider them ATG's...i for one give the elite fighters of today a very good shot at past elite fighters....they were vulnerable just as much as ANYONE else is today just how the sport is.

Like Ali Floyd is bold and brash enough to do it. Like Ali his skills are second to none. Like Ali he is considered the #1 man in boxing with Ali it was his belt since they had only one back then and with Floyd its the P4P status thing. Its nothing wrong with him saying it its nothing wrong with people disagreeing with him people disagreed with Ali and still do till this day.....what is certain though is that Floyd is only a couple of fights away from being a ATG where you rank him is on you and iim not sure even the people who dislike him can argue that.

mayweather is the best fighter right but not ever.for him to be better then ray and ali he needs to fight guys that tested ali like fraiser and guys like lamotta.

if he were to win against cotto and williams and fight margo for the hell of it.um maybe shane and then fight a super fight a mid weight and win then i would call him the best fighter of all time.atleast if he did that i could see why he was saying it.
