First off, the only guy at WW that could argue that Floyd didn't want to fight is Margo. Floyd tried to fight Cotto at 140, and was willing to fight him at 147. Again, you said Floyd has never faced an elite fighter. Name me one elite fighter that he could've fought that he didn't. You mentioned Margo and Cotto. However, no way in hell are they elite if Corrales, Castillo, and Hoya weren't

You don't even understand what we're talking about here. You jumped in the middle of the conversation, which is why you made this post that makes no sense in the context of the argument. The post you responed to contains two separate arguments. Because you don't know the depth of the discussion, you have incorrectly merged the two separate arguments into one.

Great at 130-135 and thats about it.
And yeah Castillo DID beat him in the first fight but got robbed by a home town decision.

Of course Mayweather cannot face every top fighter in each division he's been in. But don't you wonder why he didn't face another champ in his division? It's not enough to just say "I'm better". That's never held up.

Floyd has faced lesser fighters who came off a loss, so that's not really acceptable.

When you have several guys with legit claims as being the top guy, there's a responsibility to actually establish who the really champ is, even if some claim the LINEAR title.

Had he beat Margo im sure Floyd would have fought him next year..

secondly if you want to blame Mayweather for not fighting Cotto why cant you blame Cotto for not fighting him @140 when Mayweather wanted the fight after he beat Gatti?... and try to make some good logic please

What other champion was there exactly for Floyd to face?, above all what's the POINT of it?, if Gatti was considered a paper champion at 140 because Tsyzu was the #1 fighter who had most of his belts dropped then the same would be said at Welterweight with Baldomir being around and the rest of the titles being distributed basically with Margarito holding on to the WBO.

Floyd's main goal when he moved to Welterweight was the undisputed title and that's all there is to it. He tried to fight another champion and the top #1 champion actually in Hatton at Light Welterweight but couldn't get the fight done, Arum his self should tell you enough about how they tried to make that happen but couldn't so he seeked that very same title but at Welterweight. What's the point of fighting "Other champions" when there is an undisputed champion running around?, that's the title all fighters go for and settle with.

Cotto was only considered a legit threat to Mayweather after his victory over Mosley and that was the same year Mayweather beat both DLH/Hatton and retired from boxing, it's not Floyd's problem Cotto was still new and rising when he was already a three division world champion going for his fourth. Not to forget that the very same year Mayweather retired was the year he was voted fighter of the year despite delusional hater's outcries about Cotto beating Mosley and Judah being far better.

I dont care, Judah was coming off a loss and Margarito had a belt. I am pretty sure that offer was their if Floyd wanted it. It is not like it went away.
