Baldomir is a poor fighter. I would have respected Floyd more if he fought Margarito.

True but Mayweather wasnt the best when he fought Hatton anyway at welterweight. Cotto clearly was doing more than him in the division. FYI Margarito will clean out the division.

Sadly your respect means nothing, Baldomir was the #1 fighter and the fighter the boxing public DEMANDED Floyd to take if he was serious about being a Welterweight. Margarito hasn't accomplished **** in the division back then, unless you consider a win over Cintron better than a win over Undisputed champion Zab Judah coming off a major victory over Spinks and a win over Gatti to follow.

Maybe that's your opinion, in reality he was the #1 Welterweight when he fought Hatton and officially. Your opinion changes that in your own mind but in reality it doesn't.

What do you mean you don't care?, are you an idiot?, did you read my post properly?

You caring or not means nothing here. The fight COULDN'T have happened, Margarito was HOOKED to fight Manuel Gomez on a PPV card, do you even know that team Mayweather asked for a fight with Margarito but was refused because the fight with Gomez was already hooked, they couldn't change an entire fixed PPV event to make that fight. It was more TEAM MARGARITO'S FAULT THAN MAYWEATHER'S so they moved on with the fight with Judah. If anything an offer came from Mayweather than Margarito at that point, not to forget that an offer was ALSO made to Baldomir but neither fights could be made so they went with Judah anyway.

You better care if you're clearly a nublet who doesn't know about a fighter you claim to be a fan of. You saying "I DON'T CARE IT'S MAYWEATHER'S FAULT ANYWAY" when it clearly isn't is a sign if a desperate idiot who didn't even give me a SINGLE good response yet.

Someone translate Shane's statements at the end for me. "I wouldn't turn down 8 mil to fight Margarito but then again I wouldn't fight him in November"?

Maybe I'm hearing it wrong. Twat's he talking about?

Sadly you keep on saying he linear over and over. He is a poor fighter period. You know Margarito is a bigger risk and he took shitty Baldomir.

True my opinion but that's what I feel. Casa doesn't deserve that linear belt either.

I never said he's an ATG for you to tell me he's a poor fighter, he was the #1 fighter, something Margarito wasn't and the only thing Margarito was able to brag about at the time was the same thing Vivian Harris bragged about, media hype. No accomplishments whatsoever to force Floyd to consider it.

Whether he's shitty/poor/rubbish in your eyes means absolutely nothing the facts remain, this is a discussion with opinion regarding these fighters pushed aside and you clearly have no answer.

Baldomir was no 1 just by a lucky turn of events, for all we saw Gatti could have been no 1 if he would have beaten Baldo and I'm sure he wouldn't have fought Floyd again,so Floyd would not become linear.

How you feel doesn't change the facts, that's all I'm trying to tell you here. It's not Floyd's problem Margarito was hugging to a WBOgus that got him absolutely nothing when fighters like(yet again we mention them) Mayweather/Baldomir/Judah/Spinks/Mayorga/Forrest/Mosley/DLH captured the official #1 spot and undisputed title for Spinks/Judah/Baldomir and Mayweather with the rest of champions being considered "paper" champions till the belts are unified again. That's a position Margarito captured a month ago so go figure.

This is a discussion about facts regarding the situations back then, NOT just my opinion. If you fail to understand here then we can also have an opinion-only discussion.

Mayweather still could have fought him after that fight. Like I said its not like the offer went away since they are both Top Rank fighters at that point.
