I wouldn't say Floyd's victory against Hatton at 147 was better than Cotto's win against Judah at 147. What did Hatton prove when he was in the 147 pound division? Sure, he won a title from Collazo in a fight that could have went either way, but what did Hatton do right after the victory? He vacated the belt and moved back down to 140 because he knew he couldn't hang in there with the top fighters at 147. This was obviously proven when he stepped back up back to 147 and was completely dominated by Mayweather and knocked out.

Yeah I do admit I scored the fight for DLH by one point only, then again my scorecard is absolutely worthless as yours and the judges' decision is what is officially scored. So in the end it's BEATING DLH in a tough fight and BEATING Hatton is FAR better than beating Mosley and Judah, also as Cotto got a controversial decision(as MANY consider) over Mosley, Hatton got KO'd as well against Mayweather.

Pretty much even with Mayweather's wins being far better, therefore making him the fighter of the year.

How about Manuel Gomez, Golden Johnson, Six Heads Zero Chins Lewis and the MANY Tijuana Cab drivers in Margarito's resume?
Margarito's claim to fame is ONE name fighter and only came recently, nothing else.

Sadly Margarito had nothing to prove otherwise apart from a win over Cintron and Six Heads Lewis at that point.

Yes, the same Zab Judah who made a more competetive fight overall than Ricky Hatton. I had it 116-112 Floyd and don't see how Floyd won anymore than 8 rounds.
