Sharmba was basically a tune-up in a new division, the Judah fight was going to be cancelled as I explained already but Margarito considered Manuel Gomez a better opponent at the time. Want to tell me why Margarito hasn't avenged a single loss out of 5 in his record?

Yes, Baldomir was proven, he was the #1 contender for Zab's WBC title, if that's not proven then I don't know what it is and COMPLETELY a different case from Cotto who was rising at that point.

Also, real fighters like Cotto dont need "tune ups" when entering a new division. Cotto fought a natural undefefeated WW..who was ranked. Hell , even Hatton fought CollzaO IN his first WW fight...

Floyd fought a career JW, 35 yr old fighter who was just KO'd EALRY by Zoo the year prior. Not only that it was Sharmba's only first or second fight at WW.. How do you "tune up" for another division and take on a guy who is movign up as well

Fact is if Margarito is the most feared man on the planet then two fighters that already beat him are ready to negotiate fights and help him avenge at least two out of three losses which he's not interested in, that's proof for you.
