Pac isnt scared of no one. He will be retiring anyway so might as well take one of the biggest fight in the century and go home with the $25 million win or lose.

actually this is true. not only for pinoys. almost everyone loves a winner. of course we support other pinoy fighters but what it's no secret that we tend to admire those who find glory.

pac was not expected to fight floyd just 2 years ago so what the heck! he was expected to be a huge underdog in this fight anyway. pac said he want's to fight one more time in march before the elections. if he beats cotto, let's get this fight on. :good

Filipinos will like their guy all the way even if he wasn't good enough whether it's Pac or not, if they make it this far admiration and appreciation will be there anyway.

I'm very happy Pac came in the scene, he made A LOT of Filipinos enjoy not only his fights but enjoy the sport in general. That's an army he brought all alone and I love it, if there were more fighters like Pac boxing would be FAR more exciting. He brought new people as fans on the boxing scene with his greatness.

About Filipinos supporting Pac only because he's from the Filipines, that's nonsense. I know many Filipinos that appreciate/watch MANY other fighters not only Pac. Can't watch a sport only for ONE guy, I bet you if a great golfer came on the scene you'll find them supporting the way they are for Pac?, don't think so. Pac bring excitement for ANY fan of this sport, Filipino, black, green, purple or whatever.

    You like, like Oscar Larios?

Larios MOVED UP TWO WEIGHT DIVISIONS to fight Pacquiao, right after being brutally KO'd by Vasquez in 3 rounds.

Larios took Pacman 12 rounds, coming off a 3rd round brutal knockout TWO DIVISIONS LOWER by a super bantamweight. :rofl:rofl:rofl

Another good point and I'm a Pac fan.

This is nothing to be ashamed of, everyone does it and Pac gave Larios a shot like Mayweather did with Marquez and like DLH did with Pac. Larios wanted the fight like Marquez wanted his, nothing wrong with making it happen.

It's still an interesting matchup. Floyd fight with Pacquiao were closer but Pac had Marquez down three times where Mayweather put him down once. Pacquio stopped Hatton in two easy where as Floyd was taken 10 rounds.
Let's see how Pacquiao handles Cotto before we start predicting how Mayweather-Pacquiao would go.
