We've been here before Kev my man lol

Laguna was definitely the smoother boxer but Buchanan had a better inside game. He shortened up his punches better than Laguna and was more comfortable and spirited in close. Floyd doesn't like it in close so Ken could trouble him there. Buchanan was more dynamic than Laguna so I think he probably causes Floyd more problems.

I honestly believe the colour of Buchanan's skin and the country he comes from is a big factor in why certain types just can't fathom why people rate him as such a brilliant boxer.

That is like saying since Ali struggled against Doug Jones that means any fighter that is "Doug Jones" level would beat Ali. Or for you Marciano nutt huggers, Marciano struggled against 177 pound Ted Lowry and most people think Marciano lost and was almost knocked out various times in the bout but you people still think he could beat Foreman, Lewis, Tyson, either Klitschko brother because he is Rocky Marciano. People have off nights. Mayweather's skill like him or hate him was far above any of the guys you named. Guys like Pernell Whitaker would of schooled him and guys like Leonard, Hearns, or Julian Jackson if Mayweather would be stupid enough to fight them would all knocked him out.

His skills were not far above any of the guys I named and I've already covered why in this thread.

When opponents looked good against Mayweather, it was in the early rounds. The brilliance of this guy is that he eventually figures out your style by timing and repetitiveness. He always finds a way to outbox you.

Laguna beats him IMO, Mayweather beats Buchanan IMO but it's by no means a walk in the park and anybody who thinks it is is an idiot of the highest order.
