I'd like to add, after the fight I saw Lampley. He was very kind and respectful to everyone who came up to him.

The joke regarding "strong men becoming weak" was regarding Pacman, as well.

dont you get what lampley said?

"A lot of strong men have been turned weak by that so far" in reference to Merchant trying to get involved in the drug test negotiations. Lampley is taking a shot at Pac here who has refused to give in to the negotiations with team mayweather.

I think the thread starter can see that merchant was being a pac nuthugger during that interview, trying to blame it all on floyd. By Lampley saying what he did, i guess it evened out the debate which was one sided until then.

But it weren't really owned at Merchant more Pac.

Merchant is "boggled" that Mayweather won't fight Pacquiao unless he's drug tested under WADA rules, despite the $40M purse.

Lampley puts him in his place, since "strong men have been turned weak by it". Implying that Merchant's favorite little warrior turned down the $40M drug test. Merchant was out of place and Lampley exposed it with innuendo he didn't even notice. (and clearly, you also)

it makes little sense, lampley is also a big pac ball swinger and all he said there was 'i admire your courage getting involved int he drug testing negotiation ,strong men have been turned weak by it' :huh

Now I know why you always get your fight predictions wrong and lose your avatar bets here. In life, the small things are sometimes the most important. Remember that!

Roach/Arum/Pacquiao not fighting Mayweather in March has absolutely NOTHING to do with issue of Drug Testing. Immediately to 6 weeks after the Cotto fight, in every interview, Roach always said the same thing when asked about a potential fight wth Mayweather: "We need more time to prepare for Mayweather's style". And there was NO way they would have been ready for a March 13th date. Remember, Pacquiao has NEVER stepped foot inside the ring with anything CLOSE to a Floyd Mayweather.

Roach & Arum were just playing "Poker". They just wanted to sit at the "table" with Team Mayweather/GBP and see what they were playing with, so if negotiation happen again..."Team Pacquaio" will be ready!!
