When Floyd says he's going to press the attack he means he'll stay in the pocket and stand side on and trade up close. I don't know everyone laughs at this. He's done it countless times.
As usual, whenever ANY other boxing contemporary of Floyd's is mentioned, he goes into his This content is protected impression. Here he is on Jim Rome's show, except this time, legacy DOES matter to him: http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=5149435
floyd's a bore who is stupid, and only gets attention by acting like a jerk and saying outrageous things. Cotto, Margarito, Williams and Pac had the remedy but they got summarily ducked. this guy is a pathetic joke. always crying he's the best, like a 12 yr old boy. shuttup already Duckweatehr ducked the Pac question again too.
You cant just change the definition of "pressing the attack" to benefit your argument or defend Floyd. It is what it is..
Out of the 4 you mentioned, only Williams and Pac have the remedy to beat Floyd. Marg is too damn slow. Floyd will stick and move for 12rnds. Cotto would pose a better challenge, but will still come up short against Floyd.
William takes a class called boxing fundamental 101 at 147 against mayweather. pac that dude though he's threat
Williams height, reach, and workrate will pose a HUGE obstacle for Floyd. No way on earth does Floyd just give Williams a boxing lesson.
workrate gets cut in half by the footwork and if they fight on the inside where paul likes to take it who you think gets the better of it. paul not about to use height and reach like he should at 154 i give paul the edge, paul a little stronger and floyd a little slower. at 147 he gets beat
