Mayweather had a clause in his USADA contract that which "allowed testing to continue without the positive “A” sample results being reported to Mayweather’s opponent or the Nevada State Athletic Commission"

Mayweather's A Sample is rumoured to have tested positive 3 times between 2010 and 2012. Each time USADA gave him an inadvertent waiver.

 

ROFLMAO Fight 2 was a copy of fight 1 except Tony was blind in one eye from round 2 & the doctor KNEW this.
Cotto STILL couldnt beat him & Tony was beating his chest at Cotto . Only then did the doc step in & stop the fight. NOT to save Tony's eye but to save Cotto the embarrassment of QUITTING ON HIS KNEES AGAIN!!!!! If that Doc gave a **** about Tony's eye he'd have stopped it in round 3. He knew Cotto couldnt take any more

It's rare that I agree with Pimp but I recall that Cotto was well on top in the rematch when it was stopped.

He was ahead in fight 1 too but he was fading fast & Tony was coming on Watch Tony Beat his chest at Cotto as old Quitto dragged himself back to his corner He wouldnt have lasted the 12 & that doc saw it & gave him the fight

 

Everyone forgets that suddenly Cotto's doc 's wanted to inspect Marg eye to " make sure he was fit to fight " ROFL. The NSAC made Tony break training & fly way across country so they could make sure his eye was permanently damaged & they had a chance to beat him was in reality the real reason. They contracts were the arena prepared they went going to cancel that fight. That was Tony's trouble he wasnt a coward & a quitter like Cotto & Mayweather He was a MAN the word quit was not in Tony's dictionary

 

Tony's eye was messed up permanently before that fight Tony should never have gone in the ring again after Pac fight but he thought he could beat him anyway. He was right too Cotto was exhausted ready to quit AGAIN!!! Thats why that doc stopped the fight so save the coward quitting AGAIN!!!!
