''Mayweather is a cocky A-Hole'' - Miguel Torres

Torres doesn't beat women, he doesn't act like a dick and start **** in clubs, he teaches kids in a terrible neighborhood. Floyd is 1/4 the human being, the fact that he knows Torres would have his way with him in a fight clearly bothers him; not nearly as important but ones a piece of **** ones a great man.

 

A no rules fight doesn't mean a street fight every time. In a fight with no rules, Torres could end Floyds life if he so chose.

 

Do you honestly think Mayweather even knows who the hell Torres is? If he did do you honestly think he cares at all about Torres. Torres is a guy making chump change on Versus.

And, Mayweather puts on an act. He plays the role of a heel. I've never met the guy but many who have say the guy treats them with respect and is honest.

And isnt Torres a guy who fought in unsanctioned bouts at bars and nightclubs. Very classy.

 

The bottom line is, we hear that alot but we actually dont have any credible examples. In fact, there are plenty of examples proving otherwise.

Chase Beebe was eating Torres leg kicks just fine.

And boxing is actually quite important in MT. Look no further than the Dutch who implement alot of boxing in MT.

A mid-level MT striker like Torres isnt goign to do **** to Mayweather. Mayweather eats a couple of his kicks and proceeds to knock Torres head off into the 4th row. On the feet, Torres wouldnt know what hes in for. Mayweather isnt Manny Tapias, Mizugakis or Beebe.

 

I like Miguel Torres but he doesn't have a clue what the hell he's talking about. He's got Floyd confused with Ricky Hatton. And just like Torres would smash Floyd in the MMA ring, Floyd would own his ass in the Boxing ring.

I also seem to remember Beebs saying that Torres would beat David Haye in MMA. Jesus christ, that was absurd.

 

Doesn't David Haye have a Martial Arts backround also? I think I heard something about that before, if I'm not mistaken.

 

I don't think a real fight between Mayweather and Torres is unpredictable in the slightest. I don't even think YOU think that, I think you are saying that because you don't want to admit that Torres eats him alive in a real fight, due to all of his mma experience. Whereas Floyd's shoulder rolll proves itself to be absolutely worthless against Miguel.

Chase Beebe is a Mixed Martial Artist is Mayweather ? Oh yeah and didnt Beebe getting choke the **** out ? Boxing has always been more important in the Dutch style while in Thailand they have always put more stock into the clinch game. Torres is higher then mid-level Muay Thai im not calling him Ray Deekers but hes very damn good in all important Muay Thai areas watch a Miguel Torres fight you will see a fantastic clinch game,great roundhouse kicks,beautiful switch kicks ETC. Mayweather just eats these kicks ? You have obviously never trained in the art of Muay Thai which is not suprise. Also Torres isnt just some strike always guy his BJJ is among the very best in the world, this is something Mayweather doesnt know a thing about. Im sure Mayweather doesnt even know how to do a basic mount escape let alone actually perform that once Miguel gets on top pounds his face in and armbars him.

 

What makes you think Mayweather cares about the ground game or any aspect of MMA aside from boxing? He wouldn't train in BJJ even if you paid him. He's a world-class athlete and one of the best boxers of our generation (aside from Pacquiao). It doesn't bother him if a mid-level MMA fighter can take him down and submit him, considering he has zero interest in submissions.

 

He obviously cares about it when he goes off and makes dumbass comments like he makes about MMA. If he didnt care he wouldnt feel the need to waste time talking about it when he could use the time talking about how many buyrates he produced in 2007 which he loves to talk about.

 

Playing the role of vililan on WWE or an interview is one thing, he clearly is not doing just that, he is a bad human being, all facts point to this. Just look at the way he treats people around him. His ego is huge, he is a dick, he will die alone and miserable.

Who cares if he knows who Torres is? Torres knows who he is, and Torres and everybody else know who the better person is, know who is loved by their family, knows who is loved by their community, knows who does and doesn't have to pay to have friends, know who claims to be from "the getto" but lived in a middle class neighborhood in grand rapids and who grew up in east chicago indiana.

Fighting fights with a willing opponent in a legit sport in bouts that were not illegal is a HELL OF A LOT DIFFERENT THAN BEATING UP WOMEN!

One guy has more money, the other is a better human being, is loved and respected by everybody who meets him, and a much much better fighter.

 

Considering he talks **** about MMA and acts like he could be great at it, I'd say he cares, and should be held accountable for the **** he says.
